We aim to provide a community facility for sports, the arts and all aspects of health promotion to ensure the future health, well being, education and social needs identified by the community of Bryn Gwalia. We provide opportunities for people to gain new skills and improve confidence to help them to seek employment. It is an inclusive facility for all.

Providing community facilities for people of all ages within our local area. This includes provision for children and senior citizens as well as providing a venue for a large range of sporting, recreational, cultural and social activities.

Playing and promoting Rugby Union within the Shepway district to all members of the community enabling all abilities to participate, improve their physical fitness, develop their personal skills and community values.

8th Hornchurch Scout Group is a member of The Scout Association, providing section night and camping activities for children aged 6 to 14.

The religious activities; prayer, bible study, worship. Social activities; young people sport activities, families activities, outdoor (visiting people in their home).

Nunsmoor Centre Trust promotes the benefit of children, young people and families in the West End of Newcastle by:Advancing education, protecting and preserving health and relieving the effects of poverty and providing facilities for recreation and leisure-time occupation by promoting, supporting and improving the Nunsmoor Centre

The organisation has numerous activities for youth from 6 years of age to 18 years. These include outdoor games and skills, like camping/cooking/nature/responsibility/ plus many indoor crafts and skills,

THE CHARITY MAINTAINS THE FRESHFORD VILLAGE MEMORIAL HALL, WITH ITS ADJACENT RECREATION FIELD AND PLAYGROUND, AND LETS IT OUT PRIMARILY FOR USE BY A WIDE VARIETY OF LOCAL CLUBS AND GROUPS, FRESHFORD PRE-SCHOOL, FRESHFORD PRIMARY SCHOOL AND ALSO FOR GENERAL HIRE FOR PARTIES, FUNCTIONS, WEDDINGS, AND BROWNIE CAMPS.

Meaningful, person centred support to people suffering with dementia so thattheir family carers can have some well needed respite.- regular sessions for up to 6 hours several times a week.- arts and crafts, music, board games, bingo, gardening, light exercise.- Days out, theatre, boat and train trips and trips to theseaside.- home respite provision- bespoke counselling for carers

The charity carries out fund raising events to run and maintain a Village Hall for the benefit of the local community. These include social events i.e. Quiz Nights, Children's events, Music Concerts, Bingo, etc., and larger events e.g. Rock Show, Wedding Fayres, Christmas Fayre etc. It's also hired out for a number of activities e.g. Bridge, Yoga, Toddlers Play, Choir, Yoga, private functions etc.

Supporting Blind and Visually Impaired persons in the area of East Cheshire. Maintaining Resource Centre of specialist equipment. Advice and help on visual difficulties. Social and recreation activities provided.

We provide a venue for a full range of village and local / leisure activities including but not limited to; badminton, zumba, , stage plays, annual pantomime, horticultural events, parish council meetings, nursery school, dance class, wedding receptions and parties for all ages etc. We also act as the Polling Station for Local and National elections.
