Providing financial assistance to residents of the parish of Hundon under 25 years of age to pay fees for educational courses (including music and sports), for educational outings, for books or fees for students at college or university, or for any other educational purpose.

We have a small village hall in a small village we currently hold a carpet bowls club and an open to all coffee morning on a weekly basis, the hall is used for parish council meetings & polling station and is available for hire to all parishoners.

We provide support and information for local people to improve their horticultural skills.

Pool, games, competitions, dancing, coach trips for other activities, i.e. ice skating, ten-pin bowling etc.

Our objectives include providing recreational facilities for adults with learning disablities. Allowing members to socialise with their peers in an informal setting. Activities include bingo,darts,ball games & music to dance to.We encourage social interaction/ speech by conversation with peers & staff over a soft drink or a cup of tea & snack..We offer help & advice as required to members carers.

We provide a safe and pleasant environment for young people in Evington and the surrounding area to be involved in a wide range of sporting and health promoting activities and opportunities.

Provision of Recreation /Sporting Facility for Local community

Provision of Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Hindon for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation.

The Charity is required to ensure that funds must be applied for the general benefit of the inhabitants of Matlock and district:-? For the relief of the aged and poor? For the relief of distress and sickness? To support facilities for recreation and other leisure time activities? To support educational facilities? In such other way as the Trustees think fit

Provides recreation for senior citizens in the form of somewhere to meet, play snooker, watch television, use library and socialise, generally over a cup of tea and light refreshment.Providing the opportunity to play competitive snooker or billiards, in the two local leagues with people of like age.

To provide facilities and encourage their use by members of the community for educational and recreational purposes

To provide sports, recreational and social facilities for the Parish of Lode and neighboring communities.

We are part of the Scout Association and we are one of 42 scouting groups in the Croydon District. We are the only Air Scout Group in the Croydon District. We provide scouting activities to young people from the age of 6 - 15 both indoors and outdoors. We take the children away on trips and camps and the older children enjoy flying activities. We have children in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Wells Road and surrounding area without distinction of sex, or political, religious or other opinions, by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time, with the object of improving conditions of life for said inhabitants.

To help in the provision of playing fields for all sections of the community and in particular properly equipped children's playgrounds.To protect existing recreational land.To provide advice to individuals, voluntary organisations and local authorities on the acquisition, layout and use of playing fields.To encourage the fullest use of all recreational facilities.

3rd Eastwood (St Mary's) Scout Group provides activities for boys and girls in the Beavers (6 yrs - 8 yrs), cubs (8 yrs - 10 1/2 yrs) and scouts (10 1/2 yrs - 14 yrs). These activities are aimed at encouraging social and life skills: independence, initiative, leadership and survival. They attend camps (e.g. canoeing) where they utilise these skills.

We provide sport and recreational activities for disabled people within Basildon and District.

The main activity of this charity has for many years been to provide a recreation ground, used by the public, the local primary school and local football and cricket clubs, and for village events. We also host recycling facilities.
