Get Berkshire Active is the Active Partnership for Berkshire, our remit is to champion and inspire sport and physical activity encouraging more people to become more active. We work throughout the county of Berkshire with our 6 Unitary Authorities, schools, youth groups, sports clubs, public, private and charitable leisure providers, charities, social enterprises and other bodies.

To advance such charitable purposes (according to the laws of England) as the charity trustees see fit from time to time by making grants to organisations and individuals for the relief of poverty in the United Kingdom and sub-Saharan Africa, including the provision of improved healthcare and enhanced educational and sporting opportunities for children and their families

BPC protects the public through maintaining its public register of psychoanalytically informed practitioners who meet its fitness to practice standards.Its mission is to advance the health of the public and create a society that values human relationships and the use of psychoanalytic theories of mind to support emotional wellbeing, good mental health, and effective social policy.

The SVAS exists to advance the education of the public in the science, practice and history of aviation and automotive transport by providing financial support and voluntary labour to maintain in working order the assets of the Richard Ormonde Shuttleworth Rememberance Trust.

Elisha House provides supported living accommodation to 31 males in recovery from substance or alcohol misuse. We work according to the 12 steps recovery programme and five ways to wellbeing. We have a strong community ethos and an extensive timetable. We provide volunteering opportunities in our community gardening project and community cafe. We offer hope that recovery is possible.

On 13/11/11 the Trust leased from Lambeth Council for a period of 125 years 2.5 acres of land and community sports facilities based at the Black Prince Community Hub, London SE11 6AA. The facilities include three football pitches, two multi sport pitches, a sports hall with two gyms, two basketball courts and an education room, as well as a community building housing third sector partners.

Inclusive outdoor education and activity centre on the Wirral, Merseyside. We deliver skills-focused learning through activities such as climbing, abseiling, archery, target shooting, team-building, orienteering, bushcraft and residential stays for schools, disability and community groups, building confidence, resilience and environmental awareness.

The Foundation's activities focus on four main pillars which are: social inclusion; Sports participation; Education; and Health. In our first year we have emphasised sporting activities for young people, mainly in the Borough of Merton. However, activities were expanding to include older people (walking football), opportunities for female involvement and children with learning difficulties.

We provide therapeutic, educational, recreational and sport riding for disabled people to benefit their health and well-being.

Provide dramatic and musical education and entertainment to the local community by: producing our own plays and musicals using local talent, hosting visiting professional productions from elsewhere in the UK and beyond, showing films and National theatre "cinematic screenings", running a choir and running an Academy for Drama for young people.

To provide young African men and women with HIV and SRHR support through football coaching that will have a significant positive impact on their decision making and their behaviour, limiting the impact of HIV within their communities.

Enhancing the lives of young people through sport, focusing on those with social and other disadvantages. Imparting the values of camaraderie, loyalty, discipline and respect found in rugby. Motivating, raising self esteem and confidence, and improving life skills in young people by impacting positively on educational achievement and social interaction.

The relief of the inhabitants of Willenhall, Willenhall Wood and surrounding area by association with local authority, voluntary organisations and local inhabitants in a common effort to provide, or assist in the provision of, facilities for education and recreation or other leisure-time occupations for the inhabitants, particularly to provide and maintain an education, training and advice centre.

Scouting engages & supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. In partnership with adults, young people take part in fun indoor & outdoor activities, they learn by doing, by sharing in spiritual reflection and by taking responsibility. They make choices, undertake new & challenging activities and they live their Scout Promise.

Providing advice and assistance, and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of:a) advancing mental and physical health and well-being;b) advancing education (including developing employability, leadership and enterprise skills through training and development);c) promoting volunteering (where to do so furthers a charitable purpose or purposes);

The provision of an educational resource for the benefit of those in Merton and neighbouring boroughs to which people can contribute and gain skills, confidence and knowledge in areas such as agriculture, horticulture and equine studies.

The Trust manages historic parkland within the Cannock Chase AONB. Recreational activities include camping, archery, high & low rope courses, trails, zipwire, tree climb & crate stacking, via ferrata, rafting & coracles. The site is AALA accredited. A wide range of activities promote the conservation, protection & improvement of the physical & natural environment through active volunteering.
