Provide and maintain some 45 acres of land within the area known as Pewterspear Green as an open space, parkland, and sports recreation ground in the interests of social welfare and leisure time occupation of the public

Main activities are running of clubs fortnightly on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the benefit of the members including general sorts and leisure, as well as ad hoc trips.

WE MANAGE A DAY CENTRE - LIPHOOK DAY CENTRE 3 DAYS A WEEK FOR 50 WEEKS A YEAR. THIS PROVIDES UP TO 18 ELDERLY RESIDENTS DAILY A GOOD LUNCH, COOKED ON THE PREMISES, OTHER REFRESHMENTS, GAMES AND ENTERTAINMENT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, CONTACT WITH OTHER PEOPLE.

Operates within the guidelines set down in its 1968 Deed of Trust to relieve poverty and hardship.Primarily supports archery for the disabled through grants to organisations and individuals.Makes grants to some City of London based Charities and to a few national charities.

We run a much needed charity shop with affordable goods for local people and a drop-in centre , we offer spiritual and emotional counselling, healthy living workshops, gentle chair based exercise , aerobic classes and away day trips to the sea side and places of interest

We provide a balanced programme of training and activities to our youth members in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Scout Association, including camping, hiking, physical skills, creative activities and leadership training.

SOCA manages a Community Centre in South Oxford for the benefit of the local inhabitants and works with local residents, the statutory authorities and voluntary and other organisations to advance education and provide facilities for recreation and social welfare without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, nationality, age, disability, race or religion.

Croft Village Hall serves the local community and surrounding areas by providing facilities for many user groups. These comprise, pre school. indoor bowls, keep fit. ballet classes, bridge, mother and baby groups, childrens' acting classes, Police community meetings, Parish council meetings. The halls are used for private functions such as parties, dances, wedding receptions, funeral wakes etc.

Provision of community halls and playing field and other recreational facilities for the benefit of the residents of Ashington and the local community.

We hire the village hall to groups, sports clubs, families.

TO MANAGE AND RUN AN INCLUSIVE ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND FOR ALL CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLETO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INTERGRATION AND CREATIVE PLAY IN A SAFE SUPERVISED ENVIRONMENT TO PROVIDE WORKSHOPS IN AREAS OF ART/CRAFT AND SPORTS THAT ENCOURAGES HEALTHY GROWTH OF THE MIND AND BODIES FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS AND CULTURAL GROUPS

We provide a building and facilities for hire for the purpose of educational, recreational, physical, social moral and intellectual development. There are 6 main areas:- main hall, lounge, kitchen, stage, further lounge with kitchen facilities, sports changing facilities and toilets, male, female and disabled individuals toilets.

The charity's objects are to advance the education of the students and staff of Joseph Rowntree School and of the wider community by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational and other charitable facilities undertaken by Joseph Rowntree School not normally provided by the local Education Authority.

To maintain and manage a combined Church and Community Centre at Church Langley, Harlow, Essex, in order to enhance the lives of the residents by the provision of leisure and community facilities and to assist the C of E parish of Church Langley and the Eastern Priovince of the URC by the provision of a building suitable for public worship.
