Harton & Westoe Miners Welfare seeks to promote the well being of all people and help make life a fullfilling and enjoyable experience.The Sports and Recreational facility comprises of one floodlit pitch, cricket square, two 5-a-side outdoor floodlit pitches, crown bowling green,cricket nets, gymnasium, pool room, bar and function room.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES INCLUDING FOOTBALL, BOWLING, CRICKET, KARATE. WE ALSO PROVIDE A VENUE FOR CHARITABLE FUNCTIONS.COMMUNITY HALL FOR LOCAL PEOPLE TO USE.

The PCC works alongside the clergy of the parish to promote the mission of the church pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

we are a family club.We have a fishing and bowling club section which is open to all.a ladies section and veterans section.We have a section which raises funds for the children for a summer outing and christmas party. We also have a christmas tea for the pensioner and also a trip to the coast

The Orchestra made up of police officers, police staff and other members of the extended police family each year performs at different venues around the country raising money for a number of different charities. A mini tour of India took place in February 2008. Charity Concerts included Warwick Arts Centre for Fighting Blindness and the annual Proms Concert at Symphony Hall in December.

The Cleaver Ordination Candidates Fund exists for the support and encouragement of Anglo-Catholic ordinands committed to a traditional understanding of the priesthood and historic episcopate, and to urge the importance of continuing sound theological learning amongst the clergy.

Service users benefit from hot lunches, manicures, massages, opticians visits, health checks, advice and information on healthy living, keep-fit classes and support from a social worker and a nurse. Service users take part in activities including singing, pottery, drawing and painting, arts and crafts, puzzles, scrabble, dominoes and bingo.

St Mary's Parochial Church Council has the responsibility of co-operating with the Vicar to promote, in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic,social and ecumenical. It is responsible for the maintenance of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Leigh, the attached Genner Rooms and surrounding churchyard.

We operate as a Sports Recreation Club, originally for the mining community.Following the demise of the mining community we have continued & extended our range of operations to provide sport for the local young people 9 - 17 years with coaching and match play conditions and we are a clubmark accredited club.We also serve the community in providing facilities for Weddings/Funerals / Christenings/

We are a Hedgehog rescue charity and we take in injured and sick hedgehogs, we aim to nurse the hedgehogs back to full health and then release back into the wild. If this is not possible then we have them put to sleep at the vets. We are run entirely by volunteers.

Grants to sick and elderly priests

To promote for the public benefit the education and training of nurses working in diabetes care throughout Europe, by the development and support of training programmes, including the organisation of conferences and symposia, to further such programmes and the dissemination of information relating to the proceedings at such conferences or symposia.

It provides a welfare institute with facilities for physical recreation and other leisure time activities to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of Treeton and the surrounding area. It possesses a bowling green plus a function/meeting room which is available for members and the local community.

To advance religion in accordance with the principles of the Anglican Church amongst members of the Naval Service and their dependants in particular but not exclusively by: The provision of grants for the training of Anglican clergy and laity serving in the Naval Service for the furtherance of God's Kingdom in the Naval Service. Support for the Naval representation at the C of E General Synod

Out of the residue of net yearly income to pay in respect of the clergy an amount agreed by the trustees. To pay either to the Parochial Church Council or directly any charges lawfully incurred in the maintenance and repair and insurance of the fabric of the parish church of All Saints, North Street. If in any year the whole of the said residue is not applied it shall be accumulated to form a fund
