The object of the charity is the provision of a welfare hall and recreational facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, such of the said inhabitants as are members of the mining community) of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

The Trustees of Blidworth Recreation Centre provide recreational facilities to benefit the inhabitants of the parish of Blidworth and locality without prejudice.The Trustee Body is made up of volunteers by election including members of the affiliated sections (ie football, cricket, Brass Band and bowls sections).

The income of the charity is to be distributed by the trustees in such manner as they shall see fit among ordained clergy serving or employed within seven London deaneries viz City of London, Southwark, Islington, Bermondsey, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Lambeth deaneries, and seven other central London parishes viz St Ann Westminster, St Clement Danes, St James Westminster, St Giles in the Fields

Harrisons is an old miners welfare formed 100 years ago. It provides sports facilities, in particular a bowling green and football pitches, together with a licenced club house where members meet for social occasions. There is a children's adventure playground.

Giving grants to widows and widowers of deceased anglican clergy in the diocese of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The Trustees shall hold the capital and income of the Trust Fund upon trust to apply the income and all or such part or parts of the capital for the education of priests and future priests for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nottingham.

The main aim is to provide support for patients who have been treated for head, neck or oral cancer at the University Hospital, Cardiff. We are fund-raising to provide a Faceupcymru Specialist Nurse at the University hospital.

The Middlesex Hospital Nurses Benevolent Fund was established in 1933 to enable Middlesex nurses to keep in touch with each other. One of the primary purposes however is to maintain a benevolent fund to help Middlesex nurses and all trained nurses who have served on the Middlesex staff who are in need through sickness or adverse circumstances. There is also an education bursary.
