Religion Charities

The church is affiliated to the Redeemed Christian Church of God, UK and provides Newcastle-under-Lyme with Christian witness and worship consistent with the beliefs and practices of the Christian faith. The parish runs as a charity and governed by approved governing document which states that the principal purpose of the charity is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principle

Abu Bakar Mosque is located in Bradford BD3. The mosque's main object and its principal activity continues to be that of maintaining the mosque premises for prayers and worship and promoting the Islamic faith.

Regular public worship. Provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity. Taking religious assemblies in schools. The provision of a youth club and activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers and other special need groups. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

SHBC continues to provide a place of public worship for the service of Almighty God. Throughout the year SHBC has sought to discern the needs of the community. The children's & youth clubs are for new born to young adults.There are men's & ladies events, all these are open to the whole community. With other churches we opened our doors to the homeless & provided food, bed & warmth after December.

Religious Activities

The organisation provides public worship open to all with teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Activities include pastoral work, visiting the sick and the bereaved; support of other charities in the UK and overseas; the provision of activities for toddlers; the promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings, and the distribution of literature.

Holding various weekly meetings with biblical teaching and public worship and promoting the christian faith to all backgrounds, ethnicities and ages. Weekly events are held for youth, kids, mums and other groups within the community. Financial support is provided to other charities and those in need,and support provided to the sick and vulnerable in society.

Promoting in the Ecclesiastical Parish the whole mission of the Church

Also, the promotion of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups and the promotion of the whole mission of the church through provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

We provide Christian Worship across the geographical area covered by the charity.o We promote and practise prayer, bible study and training.o We encourage all ages to discover & grow in the Christian faith.o We support the vulnerable and fight injustice at home & abroad.o We maintain our buildings for our own and community use.o We work ecumenically where appropriate.

The Mosque is open all day for daily and Friday prayers. During the week we have over 100 people whoregularly attend daily prayers and over 500 who regularly attend Friday prayers.The mosque/ Centre is also used for festivals, funeral facilities, civil marriage and nikkah, hafiz classes, Islamic awareness, inter-faith dialogue, zakat, library, etc.

St Peter's aims to promote the preaching and teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ within the parish, and beyond its boundaries. Within Hawkenbury it conducts Church services, bible study groups, school assemblies, youth groups, parent and toddler groups and holiday activities. It seeks to maintain good relationships with other churches within the parish and town and supports missionary partners.

PROMOTION OF ISLAMIC RELIGION

Currently Celebration Church United Kingdom has its main congregation in Maidstone and a number of church plants organised in 4 hubs across the United Kingdom. The church is headquartered in Maidstone. Sunday services are held each week and other activities/events run throughout the week to cater for the needs of children, women, men and the youth in order to advance the Christian religion.
