Ovarian Cancer Action strives to stop women dying from ovarian cancer. We fund world-class scientific research leading to innovative treatments and progressive solutions. Ovarian Cancer Action campaigns to ensure women and healthcare providers know risk factors, symptoms and treatment options to enable informed and rapid action.

To promote the science of psychoanalysis and to promote education relating thereto

The British School at Rome is a centre of interdisciplinary research excellence in the Mediterranean supporting the full range of arts , humanities and social sciences . Promoting the welfare of patients and staff of Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and the support of medical education and research within the trust.

The Institute's research aims to provide practical, policy-focused solutions for use by government and the community. It is focused on disadvantaged populations. Its research areas include heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, stroke, critical care and trauma, road injury, fractures, falls, chronic back pain and health care innovation.

Advancing education in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM subjects) inparticular with the aim of increasing diversity in STEM subjects and improving representation of underprivileged students. Operating internationally in the UK, the United States, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, China, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, India and other jurisdictions in which a grant would be beneficial.

The Association exists to promote the highest standard in the practice of urology for the benefit of patients by fostering education, research and clinical excellence through the dissemination of information.

We have been at the forefront of social science research and development for over 70 years, applying ideas and providing practical support to individuals and organisations dealing with issues of change, innovation and policy delivery. We work with government, voluntary and private sectors at local, national and international level, combining research, consultancy and professional development.

NPIMR T/A The Griffin Institute trains the next generation of NHS surgeons and provides a hub for conducting pioneering research by: * providing bespoke training to UK surgeons in robotic surgery and other advanced minimally invasive surgical (MIS) techniques * Supporting translational and innovative research to enhance patient health * Delivering high-quality and novel preclinical studies.

TO PROMOTE PLANT SCIENCE BY PUBLISHING LEARNED JOURNALS, INCLUDING NEW PHYTOLOGIST. FUNDING EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE BROAD AREA OF PLANT SCIENCES. SUPPORTING DEFINED GROUPS AND MAKING GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS THAT FALL WITHIN THE GENERAL REMIT OF THE TRUST.SPONSORING SYMPOSIA AND OTHER SCIENTIFIC MEETINGS WITH THEMES RELEVANT TO THE WORK OF THE TRUST.
