Techniquest's aim is to promote the advancement of education and improve the public perception of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) by establishing permanent and temporary interactive exhibitions across Wales, together with supporting educational programmes and a series of outreach programmes for those unable to visit a permanent exhibition.

To advance the education of the public in philosophy, sociology, psychology and comparative religion and in particular to promote in those fields the study of the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti.

THE SOCIETY PROMOTES EXPERIMENTAL BIOLOGY WITHIN THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY AND SOCIETY. THE SOCIETY'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ORGANISATION AND SPONSORSHIP OF CONFERENCES; THE PUBLICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE; EDUCATION, CAREERS AND POLICY WORK; THE ADMINISTRATION OF TRAVEL GRANTS; MEMBERSHIP TO EXPERIMENTAL BIOLOGY RESEARCHERS.

The Horse Trust exists to enhance and improve the quality of life of equines in the UK. In achieving these objectives The Trust undertakes three main strategic aims:Sanctuary - to provide sanctuary and respite care at The Home of Rest for Horses Scientific Research - to fund non-invasive research.Knowledge and Skills - to devise and deliver a broad spectrum of training courses.

The aim of SSIEM is to foster the study of inherited metabolic disorders and related topics by arranging scientific meetings, publications and training. SSIEM is willing to spread interest and study in inborn errors around the world by selectively supporting membership and attendance at conferences from areas where financial resources are more limited.

Support and promote medical research primarily through grants for research on cardiovascular disease, inflammatory disorders, and endocrine or metabolic diseases

Wellbeing of Women is the charity dedicated to improving the health of women and babies to make a difference to everybody's lives today and tomorrow. * We provide information to raise awareness of health issues to keep women and babies well today.* We fund medical research and training grants, which have and will continue to develop better treatments and outcomes for tomorrow.

The objects for which the Society is hereby constituted ("the Objects") are for the benefit of the pubic: the advancement of the science of statistics and its applications, and the promotion of the appropriate use and awareness of statistics.

Awarding Research Fellowships, Industrial Fellowships, Industrial Design Studentships, Fellowships in Design and the Built Environment, Enterprise Fellowships, Technical Teaching Fellowships and Special Awards and administering its South Kensington estate all with the aim to increase the means of industrial education and extend the influence of science and art upon productive industry.

The main objectives of the charity continues to focus on delivering a range of extensive care services within the fee structure, including the provision of post operative convalescence, short and long stay nursing/residential care. THE BRITISH INSTITUTE OF RADIOLOGY IS A SOCIETY WHOSE MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO EVERYONE INTERESTED IN RADIOLOGY, RADIATION ONCOLOGY AND THE UNDERLYING SCIENCES, AND WHICH EXISTS TO HELP IMPROVE THE PREVENTION, DETECTION AND TREATMENT OF DISEASE. IT DISSEMINATES KNOWLEDGE THROUGH ITS MEETINGS, PUBLICATIONS AND INFORMATION SERVICES.

The Charity is a professional body and its aims are the improvement of ships and all that specially appertains to them and the arrangement of periodical meetings for the purpose of discussing practical and scientific subjects bearing upon the design and construction of ships and their means of propulsion and all that relates thereto.

FUNDING IS PROVIDED FOR HARDSHIP GRANTS, SUPPORT GROUPS, HOLIDAYS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN ARE UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR CANCER OR LEUKAEMIA AT THE UNIT; MEDICAL AND OTHER EQUIPMENT; MEDICAL; NURSING AND SOCIAL SUPPORT STAFF AND RESEARCH INTO CHILDHOOD CANCER AND LEUKAEMIA
