Young peoples resource centre offering informal education, accredited and non-accredited courses, childcare, counselling, cafe, health activities, womens work, work with LGBT young people, music, art, recording studios and sports. All of these activities are provided with in a philosophy of encouraging young people to take control over their own lives).

The relationship of insects to ecology, conservation, food, animal or human health being a part of the science. The October Gallery is an arts complex dedicated to the appreciation of the transvangarde - the cross-cultural avant garde. The Gallery hosts exhibitions of art from around the world, talks on art and science, poetry readings, theatre and dance performances. Support is from sales of art, rental of the Gallery's unique facilities, grants, donations, staff, volunteers and friends.
