THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH GRANT-MAKING, ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY-BUILDING, AND DELIVERING PROJECTS. IN THE UK WE RUN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ON THESE ISSUES.

The Museum of the Home explores the theme of home through galleries, rooms through time and gardens, special exhibitions, learning programmes and community engagement activities. Formerly known as the Geffyre Museum, it is housed in the 300-year old Geffrye Almshouse buildings in Hackney,and encourages people from London's diverse communities to learn about home - a theme common to everyone.

Equality Now works for the protection and promotion of the human rights of women and girls around the world. Working with national women's rights organisations and individual activists, we document violence and discrimination against women and girls and add an international action overlay to support their efforts to advance equality rights and defend individual women who are suffering abuse.

All of our work, in the UK, on the Isle of Man, in Nepal and in Uganda, aims to give D/deaf people equal access to every part of life. We do this through Residential Support and Rehabilitation; Education and Training; Deaf/Sign Language Arts; Deaf Culture Projects; Deaf Heritage Projects; and the provision of Deaf Spaces.
