As a local civic society we organise educational activities to encourage awareness of local heritage. We hold seminars to share best practice with similar towns and we make recommendations to the local councils on the physical and economic development of the town. We publish educational books on the local environment and we support local schools in their citizenship curriculum.

To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.To provide training which will be useful in Service and civilian life.To foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.

Scout GroupThe Group's aim, in common with that of the Scout Association, is the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people. The Group meets the Charity Commission's public benefit criteria under both the advancement of education and the advancement of citizenship or community development headings.

It promotes democracy, international understanding, and the values set forth in the North Atlantic Treaty. It fosters debate and dialogue with universities, educational bodies, and the wider public.

The sea cadet corps is a national youth charity providing young people between the ages of 10 & 18 with life skills and the core qualities of good citizenship - teamwork, self-respect and social responsibility.

THE PRINCIPAL AIM OF THE ABERYSTWYTH SILVER BAND IS TO SUPPORT LOCAL TOURISM, CIVIC DUTY AND CHARITY FUND-RAISING EVENTS THROUGH THE MEDIA OF MUSIC. IT PERFORMS IN ASSOCIATION WITH LOCAL CHORAL SOCIETIES IN PARTICULAR TO PROMOTE THIS AIM.

Regular fortnightly discussion groups in relation to the study of comparative religion including the great metaphysical and religious traditions of the world; publication of academic works in relation to the above; maintenance of a free online library of multimedia resources for the study of comparative religion with a global reach; organising public events to educate the public on interfaith.
