House of Hodge is a retail charity shop in Highbury/Finsbury Park, London selling second-hand books and some CDs, DVDs and vinyl to raise funds to support mainly local organizations that offer care, protection, medical treatment, security and overall humane treatment to animals. We also offer financial help to support local pet owners for the care and treatment of their animal(s).

Kidlington Concert Brass Band is a Brass Band based in Kidlington, north of Oxford. The band provides training and education in brass band music through rehearsals, performances and competition. The band also has a rehearsal hall which it uses for it's rehearsals but also makes available to other organisations.

Performing several concerts per year, plus choral workshops for a wider audience. We offer free membership to all full time students and a reduced subscription for singers under the age of 26.

?To advance the education of the public, in particular but not exclusively young people, the elderly, refugees and asylum seekers by the provision of books and by promoting the use of books as an educational medium.?

Awarding of grants to local organisations/charities including:- Midland Blood Bikes,Midlands Air Ambulance,Broseley School (books for library) ,Home Start Telford, St Georges School Food Bank, 150 Christmas food hampers for families in crisis ,T&W Parkinsons Society,Water aid Appeal, Grants to several local community centres,Providing free prostate cancer screening for over 700 men

The Trust organises two beer festivals each year and the surplus from these festivals are distributed as grants to organisations that benefit the communities of Haddenham, Bucks and surrounding areas.

The City of Stoke-on-Trent Symphony Orchestra exists to promote, advance and improve public education in and appreciation of music. The CSSO achieves these goals through the presentation of public concerts, the provision of educational and other community engagement programmes and through other projects such as school workshops.

The aims of the Charity are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education & the appreciation of theatre, drama and the arts in all its aspects by, but not limited to:1 the preparation and presentation of theatre and music theatre performances by pre-dominantly disabled and under-privileged young people, but not exclusively: and2 the provision of workshops in theatre, drama & arts.

Promotion, commissioning and professional performance of contemporary music, mainly by living composers based in the UK. High profile concerts and touring across the UK. Regular education work with young performers and composers. Strong focus on works combining music and other media, particularly silent film.

Performance of classical choral music.

A season of 4 plays are presented in the Blackburn Empire Theatre Blackburn. All other activities take place in the club room adjacent to the theatre.

We hold services of public worship weekly and special services at Christian festivals, coffee fellowship morning weekly, Brass Band practice weekly, host yoga and exercise groups, work with the Goslings pre-school who use our premises, and hold many other social events and concerts.

The LGSO is the oldest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender orchestra in the UK. We welcome anyone whatever their sexuality. The Orchestra prides itself on being run by its members: a repertoire committee chooses the music we play and one of our aims is to develop the talents of all of our members.

The archiving and preservation of transport related film, video and photographic material

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music.

The purpose of the JRSA is to advance the education of its students by developing effective relationships between staff, parents, carers and others within the school. It will aim to achieve this by providing, facilities and equipment which support the school and help the education of the students. The JRSA does this by raising funds via social evenings, concerts, raffles, quiz nights etc.

General Scout activities for young people aged 6 to 18. This includes activities such as crafts, camps, hikes, and a number of other outdoor activities.

Amateur musical theatre group providing affordable productions to the locality, and a weekly rehearsal / social meeting for those interested in singing and acting.

Evesham Arts Assoc. works to provide live amateur and professional arts events including concerts, musicals, drama, film, dance etc. We also hold exhibitions covering photography and art to encourage local talent.

Holding of Prayer meeting, Public celebration of religious festivals, Printing/distribution of literature on Valmiki teaching to enlighting about the Valmiki religion with ( Ramayan/Yog Vasistha), Celebration of Diwali festival. Marriage and engagements arrangement is done at the premises. Women meeting, Youth activities and Support of Elderly

Support for educational fees for choristers of Chichester Cathedral.

The objects of the charity are to educate the public in the dramatic arts and to further the development of public appreciation and taste in these arts.

The establishment and maintenance of choral scholarships at Hereford Cathedral School.

The Haffner Orchestra is a very good amateur concert orchestra, normally giving three public concerts a year in Lancaster.

The trust continues to support a wide range of charitable causes. Our priorities include responding promptly to some disasters providing money, water purification and shelter/survival kits as appropriate, balanced with consideration of literacy, health, poverty and other humanitarian projects - particularly those promoting self-help - locally, nationally and internationally.
