The Petersfield Lions Club supports children and young people, elderly people, people with disabilities, and the general public and mankind. The Club makes grants to individuals, organisations, provides finance to support other charities, provides services to other charitable organisations and the wider community [ i,e the town of Petersfield and surrounding area financed by fundraising.

Market Rasen Lions Club is part of Lions Club International. We raise funds locally for distribution to local and International good causes. This might involve purchasing items for those in need, both goods and services.

Dover Lions Club raises funds in order to make charitable grants both locally, Dover District Kent, nationally and internationally to individuals and organisations in accordance with the guidance issued by tn Charity Commission on public benefit

The Lions Club of Stowmarket and District is a member of Lions Clubs International, the world's leading voluntary service organisation. The club organises fund raising events and donates money to other charities and needy individuals. Local community service projects are also undertaken.

Example activities supported - Promoting volunteering, Relief of poverty and relief of those in need. Encouraging healthy recreation, Yarm Club occasionally gives grants to individuals. The club operates within the agreed objects under the aegis of LCI , both locally and nationally. Trustees are independent and make their own decisions, but will consider guidance given by club members.

Application of funds to individuals and organisations in accordance with the club's Grant Making Policy.

Our activities include serving the local community & local organisations by either donating our time are by way of a grant. These organisations range from support to the elderly or local schools. We encourage people to serve thie community without personal reward. Grants are also made to international disaster relief. We operate mainly in and around the town of Tring.

Our funding is generated by activities within a 10 mile radius of Taverham, Norfolk. Our funds for supporting local, national & international appeals is handled by our service committee, although a majority support from clubs membership is required before spending is agreed. We help amongst others:- local schools and surgeries, national & international appeals.

The Club makes grants to individuals in need, local charities, schools, local organisations andcommunities. It organises community events, children outings, support for the elderly, youth projects, andthe Christmas gift programme and also provides physical support such as marshals at events, litterpicking and gardening for a local day centre.

Thanet Lions Club purpose is through service and financial support to provide help for those in need. Fundraising,primarily in the Thanet area of Kent, provides the financial support and as a consequence most of the funds are allocated through grants to the local community. Some funds are used to support other projects in UK and wider world where people are in Need.

Kingswinford & Stourbridge Lions Club (CIO) is a member of Lions International a worldwide service organisation, serving our local community and serving local charitable causes.

Our policy is to give grants at the discretion of the members of Chelmsford Lions Club following investigation and recommendation of the Trustees. Whilst in general there are no restrictions on the purpose for which a grant can be given applications for capital projects and core funding are not normally considered. Applications from Chelmsford and surrounding areas are normally given priority.

Organising and running the Weston-super-Mare Sea Shanty and Folk Music Festival, then distributing the proceeds after costs to nominated local charities. Current nominated charities are Weston-super-Mare RNLI and Weston-super-Mare Lions Club.Musical Performance in aid of good caused such as the nominated charities above

We raise monies primarily from two annual events - a Donkey Derby & two-day Bootfair inaugust, and a sponsored dip in the sea on Boxing Day-at the latter participants are invited tonominate a charity-local or national-or a good cause to whom we then send 50% of whatthey raise in sponsorship. We aim to spend locally what we raise.

Spalding Lions Charitable Incorporated Organisationare involved in community events working with our local council and community organisations. attending various fetes and shows with our stall and hosting community events for fundraising. Continue working with disabled organisations, schools, local, cancer charities, food banks, and Social Services requests to help the needy.
