We play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

MONTHLY MEETINGS FOR FRIENDSHIP AND EDUCATION

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

Southfield WI is outward looking, it has monthly meetings with speakers, reading group, visits to theatre, and historical places. It supports G.F.W.I. events, including music, drama, crafts, and environmental issues. Southfield gives a bursary for educational courses, welcomes visitors, and gives social companionship for its members. Many members volunteer for local causes.

The W.I. provides a varied programme of events to inform educate and entertain women of all ages. The Institute is open to all women irrespective of race or creed.

Local Whitley branch of the WI, providing education, entertainment,support and a voice for all women. We promote rural initiatives, the environment, and the countryside. We have monthly meetings with a speaker, regular outings, sports and leisure activities. See our website for more information

We provide educational activities for our members.

We make grants available to our member by way of Bursaries for educational purposes. We have a stall in the village Christmas Fayre selling Jams, chocolate tombola. This event enable us to raise money for the nominated charity for the current year .For our monthly meeting we hire very good speakers including craft, science and health Outings of educational interest are enjoyed throughout the year.

Members of the Women's Institute engage in various programs including volunteering at the local home for the disabled and providing assistance to elderly people in their homes. You should contact Ethel Hunt Lodge, our local federation, for further information regarding our activities.

To educate by inviting guest speakers to our meetings and by arranging visits to places of interest.

We are a member of the NFWI, we meet monthly where we discuss a range of subjects of local or national or international issues. We also provide our members with educational opportunities to learn new skills, develop friendships while taking part in a variety of activities. We hope to bring to the fore the role the woman in our modern day society through discussion/campaigning on a variety of issue

Our activities include, crafts, art, singing, drama, baking and many other different subjects. We also have speakers on history, celebrities , exercise, dance and choirs. Broughton is a small hamlet, situated just north west of Eccleshall. Our organisation brings together women of all ages and from all walks of life. We meet to enjoy social activities, local trips out, educational events, and to discuss current affairs and topical issues. We are also a source of support / provide human resources to other organisations and committees within our local area.

HYDEN WI IS A MEMBER OF ACWW. Hyden Womens Institute Clanfield meets on the third Monday of each month at Petersgate Infant School in Clanfield at 7.00pm
