The sea cadets provide young people from 10-18 with life skills of teamwork, self respect & social responsibility through training following a naval background.

Fund Raising activity, support to both individuals and local, national and international charities and societies and support to international disasters

Provide accommodation, kitchen & facilities for local disabled charities to meet weekly or monthly for social activities and/or their business meetings.

The Charity assists in the care, preservation and adornment of the Parish Church or any other ancient and historic buildings vested in the Cirencester Parochial Church Council, together with their goods and ornaments, and also assists the PCC with the execution of their religious purposes.

Fund Raising, organising Community Events, supporting Sport for Children, supporting Education for the young and needy, supporting the needy, locally, nationally and Internationally.

Scouting

The Village Hall offers a venue for all types of activities,ranging from WI ,horticultutural ,allhobbies ,anything. All ages, it has a creche type facility. Anyone in the village can hire itfor events . Theatre groups ,painting classes. Its a meeting place for all ages ,and much used

The village hall provides a venue for such village and local activities as: a weekly outreach post office service and informal cafe, indoor sport such as bowls and badminton, brownie "camps", villages club and organisation meetings, other charitable fundraising activities.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage children from 6 to 14 years to do more, learn more and be more. Each week the 1st Whittlesford & Duxford Scout Group gives young people of Whittlesford, Duxford, Ickleton, Hinxton and Thriplow villages in Cambridgeshire the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Promotion of the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their community. Character building activities, outdoor activities (e.g camping, rock climbing, travel, swimming, sport) team building, environmental and civic awareness.

A museum providing information about the history of industrial activity in the Wandle Valley with particular reference to the River Wandle and its mills both at its premises in Mitcham and by way of outreach to schools and community centres

Voluntary community centre catering from 2 to 90yr plus.

To provide a range of activities, sports and skills that are attractive and adventurous within a caring discipline, based on the high standards of the Royal Navy and to assist in development of self-confidence, self-discipline, leadership and sense of responsibility to the community.

Raising funds for the school through social activities

Adult Education and Leisure groups, Keep fit, Zumba, Latin American Line Dance, Welsh Dance, Women's Institute, Gardening Societies, Karate, Brownies, Ballet, Coychurch Youth Club, Children's Parties, Concerts, Charity Events.Surgery for Welsh Assembly MPs and use as a Polling Station.

Scout Group

A social club for the Blind and Partially Sighted in the Rochdale Area.Every tuesday there is a social event, with an Artist/singer- with dancing/sing along, held at the centre, or on approx six occasions a year,a coach trip out, with meal.The Talking Newspaper also use our premises weekly, without charge.

THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH STRUCTURED TRAINING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POLICY, ORGANISATION AND RULES OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION.

Raises funds to distribute amongst worthy charitable causes and others, locally, nationally and internationally

The charitable purpose of the Unit is to promote the development of young people aged 10 to 18years, in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).

To enhance the experiences of our students by working in partnership and the community with families and other organisations to provide additional opportunities outside of the core offer education funded by the local authority.

To provide a Scouting programme for 6 to 14 year-olds, via Beaver, Cub and Scout sections.
