To give the young people (boys and girls) of Snodland the opportunity to experience the everyday adventure that is scouting.

Scouting: TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIAL AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

"Village Hall" fascilities for local community

The Eastbourne Sea Cadet Unit was formed in 1909 and affiliated to the Navy League in 1915. It is an Independent Registered Local Charity which provides constructive activity on a Royal navy theme for young people between 10 and 18 years of age to occupy their spare time. No national funding is provided, although the Royal Navy loan uniforms and some boating equipment.

Scout Group.

To maintain the Spencer Hall building it's contents and facilities for use by Sandridge Cricket Club, Sandridge Rovers Football Club, Sandridge Youth Club and the local community. Regular hirers include an after school and holiday club, a line dance class, and a children's music class. The hall holds approximately 120 people seated and is available for hire for weddings, parties etc.

TO RUN A SHOP WITHIN THE HOSPITAL TO RAISE MONEY WHICH IS THEN USED FOR THE BENEFIT OF PATIENTS USING THE HOSPITAL.

TO RAISE FUNDS THROUGH A RANGE OF FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS AT ASHLEY C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL.

TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

Provision of facilities for local community clubs, educational activities and recreation, and to provide a space for community activities and events.

We have organised Concerts, Music competition, Store Collections, Santa Sleigh collections and a Car Boot Sale

To advance the education of the pupils of Abbey Park first School.

The educating of the public by the support and assistance of the The Wilson, Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum ("the Gallery").Making loans or gifts of money to the Gallery, and in purchasing or acquiring or contributing to the purchase or acquisition of pictures, sculptures, works of art, costume, photographs, books and other works of artistic historical scientific or general public interest.

To manage the Village Hall for the use of residents without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes, and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

PROVIDE SCOUTING FOR AGES BETWEEN 6 AND 14 YEAR OLDS FOR MALE AND FEMALE, AND ALL RELIGIOUS BACKGROUNDS.

Raising funds for Dulwich Wood Federation = Dulwich Wood Primary School and Dulwich Wood Nursery School

To provide three rooms of different capacities for the use of various organisations and people from the local community

TRAINING OF BOYS AND GIRLS IN ACCORDANCE WITH POLICY ORGANISATION AND REGULATIONS OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION

Horsforth based Scout Group with Squirrel, Beaver, Cub and Scout sections

To further the advancement of the musical education and training of children and young persons in Hampshire by providing financial support to the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra, and the String Orchestra. The Friends contribute to the cost of residential training courses and ensure opportunities are open to all.

Rent out rooms to a variety of groups, charitable and misc, also run a luncheon club with the help of volunteers
