Provision of a full program of Scouting activities to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

To supply leisure activities and social support within our area of benefit. We provide a Community space for low cost hire, host free Community events and entertainment in a semi rural area. Our aim is to reduce social isolation for all age groups, ensure the maintenance of a Community hub and to act as a link between other statutory organisations, our members and the wider Community.

Support and promote community activities for all age groups, especially sporting activities in the Community Centre

Youth organisation for 10-18 year olds as fully enrolled uniformed cadets. They are instilled into the nautical traditions - boatwork, sailing, canoeing, sea going experience under sail and power, seamanship, maritime skills (drill and piping), radio communications, electrics, mechanics, cook stewards, band music. Our aims centre around service before self, both globally and in local community. We provide practical response to world disasters, floods, earthquakes. Sending shelterboxes, aquaboxes and relief supplies. The End Polio now campaigns worlds largest public health project costing $1bn fund, fundraising at Christmas collections from public & race nights to support local charities & good causes.

WE ARE A COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION RUNNING A COMMUNITY CENTRE PROVIDING FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE COMMUNITY, MANY AT LOW OR SUBSIDISED RATES. WE CATER FOR MANY OLDER PEOPLES GROUPS AND CURRENTLY RUN 2 TODDLER GROUPS, 2 CARPET BOWLS GROUPS, LINE DANCING, SEQUENCE DANCING, BEGINNERS ART CLASS, Under 15s Art Club, Zumba, KARATE, WOMENS FITNESS LEAGUE, Pilates, TAI CHI & Book Happy

Village Hall for community use by local residents and businesses, i.e. health and fitness classes, martial arts training, local events, children's parties, musical evenings, Women's Institute, meetings for clubs, etc. Also used by council for polling centre.

RAISING FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT ITEMS FOR MAIDENBOWER INFANT SCHOOL AND NURSERY.

Participation in Scout activities for Boys and Girls aged 6 to 14

Raising funds to enhance the children's education at Grovelands CP School in Hailsham, East Sussex. Funds are raised through a variety of events during the year including a Christmas & Summer Fairs, School Discos, Raffles, Cinema Events, Race Nights.

Raise money to provide facilities and equipment for Minehead Hospital and the Community

The charity attends to the general upkeep of the Village Hall, which is available for hire to the general public, and has regular user groups, and is of benefit to the local population of Weybourne.

The main purpose of our executive committee's work is to maintain funds to provide an HQ for scouting activities which benefit young people from age 6 to 25. Scouting activities offer young people opportunities for education, training sports & recreation. We also provide equipment to enhance these skills. Our HQ is situated in Rothwell & is also used by many other local groups.

The WI exists to educate and inform our members with a variety of subjects and through a variety of media.We have speakers regularly, participate in and organise craft and exercise classes and arrange outings.

We are a village hall serving Sellindge village and others wishing to hire our 2 halls for various purposes and functions (clubs, scouts, playgroups, parties, business meetings). All income to the hall is used to maintain the building and cover running costs (electric, water, cleaning).

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. As a Sea Scout group we follow the national programme for each training section, but with an emphasis on water-based activities.
