SCOUTING for young people

We are part of the Scout Association & provide Scouting at a local level to young people.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts groups, run by local volunteers for the young people of Stalbridge and the surrounding areas.

WISH arranges group holidays and day trips throughout the year for disabled adults in the Banes area. One to one volunteer carers are provided at no cost to the disabled person. Travelling in UK is by lift-coach so that wheelchair users can be taken up into the coach and can transfer to a seat or remain in their chair in a clamped position.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 5th Beccles Scout Group give young people of Beccles the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

To promote the benefit of inhabitants of Whitley and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinions, by associating local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the objects of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants,

Fundraising for the benefit of Walton Oak School and its pupils.

The charity responds to world disasters making immediate donations to appeals. It supports educational and leadership courses for young people. It makes donations to Rotary Foundation for world wide relief of poverty and disease. It makes donations to good causes local to Stafford, good causes working within the British Isles, and good causes internationally.

We raise funds for the village school by organising activities for the children (Christmas and Summer Fairs, discos, circus visits) and for the local community (Quiz Nights). We have contributed towards an outdoor adventure play area, classroom, stage and science garden, a stage and new dining chairs for the school hall, a suite of laptops, books, building work and smart televisions.

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society

Hall provided for local community use for Dance Classes, Childrens Mother & Toddlers Group, Keep Fit, Yoga, Karate, Church Groups & Children's Parties, Masonic Meetings & The Hindu Cultural Society

The Principal activities of the organisation are to establish in Bangladesh and elsewhere:-homes for the orphans, handicapped, disadvantaged and poor children; to provide educational facilities and vocational training; to provide financial assistance for families in distress and to relieve poor children by providing sponsorship by individuls or institutions.

Running village hall, offering facilities for community activities.

Fundraising activities to provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school, not provided from statutory funds.Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it. Develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH A BALANCED PROGRAM IN LINE WITH THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION POLICY RULES AND ORGANISATION

Supporting extra curricula activities, funding the purchases of specialist toys and equipment for children with severe learning and physical disabilites who attend the school

The aim is to give young people the best possible head start in live through nautical adventure and fun based on the traditions and customs of the Royal Navy.

provide scouting activities for children from 6 years of age to young adults in the fairfield area of Stockton - on - Tees

The Charity receives regular donations from the members of the Rotary Club of Leicester. These donations are dispersed to at the discretion of the members to The Rotary Foundation and other local and national charities. The Club also raises money for specific projects through requests for donations and fund raising events involving Club members; other Rotary Clubs and the general public.
