The Centre caters for such organisations as Scouts & Guides,Youth Clubs,Bowling,Playgroup,Garden Club, W.I., Golden Link,Gymnastics, Yoga, Badminton etc. as well as social events such as parties, concerts, Bingo etc.We try to provide facilities and opportunities for all age groups to enjoy.

The League receives good financial support from individual businesses and local organisations such as the local Rotary Clubs, churches, etc. This means regular updating and purchase of additional major equipment has taken place. Since the new hospital was opened in 2004 in excess of £1,000,000 has been raised, which has funded some major pieces of equipment as well as many smaller items.

A community association with community centre to bring together residents, local authorities, businesses interest groups, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to provide/promote facilities and communal activities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, education and leisure.

Scouting

Provides general charitable activities for benefit of local people.

It is a parent and teachers association with the aim of raising money to provide extra facilities for the children who attend the school.

Management upkeep and running of Village Hall facilities and grounds; support for community activities and events for the local community and wider area. Promotion and provision of a range of social and educational facilities within the Hall and the village.

Scout Group providing weekly activites for Scout, Cub and Beaver groups in Welling, Kent

The charity's objects are to advance the education of the pupils at Harborne Primary School, in particular by providing and in assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school which may not normally be provided by the Local Education Authority. The Friends raise funds through events which seek also to foster the community spirit between the school and the parent body.

Our charity purchases equipment for medical use at the medical centre and its small operating theatre for the benefit of patients covered by our surgery. None of this equipment would be provided by the local health trust or any other public body. Our charity also upgrades and replaces items of equipment as needed within our financial limits. We raise funds to give the children items that the School budget cannot run to

WE PROVIDE CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGE OF 4 AND 14 WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN VARIOUS SKILLS. THEY EARN BADGES UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THESE SKILLS. WE MEET ONCE A WEEK DURING TERM TIME.

The Wombwell scout group enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, bike rides. hiking etc. They are also involved in helping out at locally organised events (summer fairs etc).

Supporting the work of The Blue School at various school events. Raising funds to provide additional equipment and resources for the benefit of all students, above and beyond the scope of the school's funding.
