General Charitable Purposes

Provision of facilities for the benefit of a scout group

To provide drama workshops / theatre for the local community for all ages young and old within the borough of London Borough of Waltham Forest, and the surrounding area.To provide Table tennis clubs for both young and those over 60's to the local community and the surrounding areas.To provide a safe environment for special needs children and adults within a day care environment

Squirrel Scouts (4-6 Year Old - Boys & Girls)Beaver Scouts (6-8 Year Old - Boys & Girls)Cub Scouts (8-11 Year Old - Boys & Girls)Scouts (11-14 Year Old - Boys & Girls)Explorer Scouts (14-18 Year Old Male & Female)

Provision of various camps and trips for Scouts and Cubs, trips and sleepovers for Beavers. Provision of facilities and resources to support Scouting badge work, inclusion in community supporting events and fund raising for othet national and international charities. Regular attendance at church parade services

Providing non-statutory educational activities for boys and girls aged from 6 to 14.5 years, promoting independence, initiative training and creative thinking within a practical environment.

Local scout group which includes beavers, cubs, scouts and explorers. We also have another local organisations using our facilities based in Mangotsfield, South Gloucestershire.

Providing activities for young people in the form of Scouting and sub groups of Cubs and Beavers.

YOUTH ACTIVITY GROUP FOR BOYS AND GIRLS

Provides facilities for keep fit classes and social evenings for the elderly. Facilities are also provided to local community groups such as ladies club, flower club, whist drive and dance classes.

WE PROVIDE AN ENJOYABLE AND ATTRACTIVE SCHEME OF PROGRESSIVE TRAINING, BASED ON THE SCOUT PROMISE AND LAW, WHICH IS GUIDED BY ADULT LEADERSHIP. YOUNG PEOPLE ENJOY LEARNING BY DOING, PARTICIPATE IN VARIED AND PROGRESSIVE ACTIVITIES, MAKE CHOICES FOR THEMSELVES, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS, WORK IN GROUPS, TAKE INCREASING RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHERS, AND TAKE PART IN ACTIVITIES OUTDOORS.

To raise funds from within our Community to be distributed within the Community to those who are felt would benefit or to be spent overseas in line with RIBI & RI aims and objects

To provide facilities for young people (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) to pursue the activities of their chosen group.

The purpose of scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national and international communities.

Fund raising events for the benefit of the Church

Help and support given to Unitarian congregations and individuals in the Yorkshire and Humberside region. Sharing of worship, discussions and social activity.Grants made to children and adults attending national Unitarian activities. Grants for worship studies courses for lay preachers across the district. Donation to Send a child to Hucklow charity. Grant towards maintaining church premises.

Scouting

The Sea Cadet Corps aim is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a practical theme based upon the customs of the Royal Navy - serious fun.

Women's Institute providing support for the local community

Provides scouting activities for boys and girls

Scout & Guide Group consisting of Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts (Scouts) and Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers (Guides). There is currently no Explorer Scout group, but the Scout District has an Explorer Scout group for boys and girls aged over 15

We exist to develop greater interest in our museums the funds we raise are used to buy artifacts, pictures etc which Leeds City Council cannot purchase from its own funds
