Associations Charities

The Association lets out the facility to local groups in the area. This allows the general public to take advantage of the variety of activities provided. The association also runs a group itself; providing an weekly get together with bingo and light refreshments, as well as an annual outing.

The Friends of Romanby School is a charity that raises money for Romanby School, which is located near Northallerton in North Yorkshire. The money raised is used for the benefit of the children who attend the school. In recent years we have put money towards new outdoor play equipment, a new school sports kit, the school garden project and many more things.

Scouts

During the course of the year ,the charity did advance money and did support mosdos sanz Schools, education institutions in Israel.

We are a PTA which organises events such as discos, quiz nights and fayres all in aid of the school. All the monies we raise are spent on providing extra resources and experiences for all pupils throughout the school.

Scout group with Beaver, Cub and Scout packs. Being on the tow-path of the Thames at Putney there is an emphasis on water based activities.

RAISE MONIES TO SUPPORT LOCAL NEEDY GROUPS SUCH AS MENTALLY ANDPHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED,SCHOOLS,AGED,CHURCH AND YOUTH IN LOCAL AREA.ALSO TO CONTRIBUTE FINANCIAL HELP TO AREAS ABROAD FOLLOWING DISASTERS,AND TO HELP SUPPORT SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES .

Fund raising events are held locally. They include a Classic Car Run, a Cycling Sportive & a stall at the Victorian Day. Some donations are made directly by members of the Rotary Club of Chipping Sodbury to Rotary International's own charity (the Rotary Foundation).Funds raised go partly towards grants to registered charities (local & international). Some goes to individuals who meet our aims.

We are a Scout Group, giving, education, training, sporting and recreation opportunities to children and young people. The Group is run by volunteers.

WE MANAGE AND MAINTAIN THE ONLY VILLAGE HALL IN A SCATTERED COMMUNITY. THE HALL CAN BE USED FOR RECREATION, EDUCATION AND A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES.

Fund raising activities in order to contribute towards the repairs and restoration of the ancient Norman Church of Peasmarsh

The Harben Armoury Fund is consituted by the Trust Deed dated 25 February 1944. Its objects are to apply the income after payment of any proper expenses in any or all of the following ways:a) toward the provision and maintenance of headquarters and drill hall for the use of the cadet companies.b) for training and recreational purposes.
