To provide therapy, information and support to people with multiple sclerosis living in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding counties

The provision of hostel accommodation for single young people aged 16-35. We provide a hall, lounge, training room for the use of the Ripon community. Our own work includes a drama club for young people aged 11-16 and a parent and toddler group.

Promote the social activities and well-being of young people

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

We provide friendship ,social activities and talks for Holocaust survivors in Leeds; promote and deliver Holocaust education at the Holocaust Learning & Exhibition Centre in Huddersfield and at schools, colleges, universities and community groups through survivors and volunteer speakers in the north of England; provide advice and guidance to external organisations on Holocaust related matters.

To assist and support jewish religious education and poverty.

In essence we provide welfare and education services to the Chinese and other ethnic minority communities. We run projects such as elderly luncheon club and elderly carers for people over 60, women and family, youth, mental health to get people people back to the society, and adult education. We operate in the Greater Manchester area

Religious and Community Activities

The principal activities of the Charity are that of initiate, develop and maintain research and educational programmes into the underlying causes of the treatment of Jewish people in Europe and a study of the phenomenon of the Holocaust.

The sea cadet unit provides adventerous team building activities and training for team leadership for young people in a safe, supervised and disciplined environment.

We provide training, support and therapeutic experiences through animals, gardens, and community activities. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of South Tyneside and the neighbourhood without distinction. As well as a Football Association registered pitch, we also offer a wide range of room and facilities for community hire and use. The centre also offers a range of organised activities open and accessible to the whole community.

Providing facilities for and promoting the interests of disabled and disadvantaged persons generally from within Taunton Deane. THis provision includes supported housing, community access scheme, day care for elderly, physically disabled and people with learning and mental health problems, catering, childcare, and social activities and training at The Albemarle Centre Taunton

Community Activities, Working with the community to provide support to the community

The Society is established to promote and assist the study, practice, knowledge and appreciation of music, and generally advance the cause of music. It aims to bring pleasure to the local community through providing high quality, varied classical music programmes, professionally performed, at realistic prices to the audience, within the Society's available resources.

Cultural programmes for the benefit of the Maher community;provision of education in particular Gujarati classses;sports venue football,basketball etc;hall hire facilities and regular religious functions for the old and the young.

North East Wales Mind exists to promote and protect good mental health. We provide high quality services to support people in Flintshire and Wrexham experiencing mental health problems. They include information and advice, social groups, peer support, counselling, training, holistic therapies and activities such as creative arts and walking.

The district is part of the Greater London Scout County which provides Scouting to young people in the London Boroughs north of the Thames.These activities promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiriritual potentials, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

To promote the well being of the Community resident in the Parish of Gerrards Cross, in a common effort to further health, to advance education, to provide a meeting place and facilities for physical and mental training and recreation and social, moral and intellectual development and to foster a community spirit.

The Norwegian YWCA is a students' home and a guest house, primarily to Norwegian women, but also others. Through our leadership training programme, and other events focusing on different topics, we encourage young people to take leadership in their own lives and engage in society.
