TO HELP PATIENTS, FORMER PATIENTS AND STAFF OF THE CHRISTCHURCH HOSPITAL WHO ARE SICK, INFIRM, CONVALESCING, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED, OR IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND GENERALLY TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHRISTCHURCH HOSPITAL.

To support young people through schools and organisations; channel funds we have raised into supporting other charitable organisations and help in individual cases of need.

The Friends of Castlefields School is a fundraising organisation made up of parents who meet roughly once a month to perform fundraising activities throughout the school year to raise money for educational activities & equipment for pupils and staff of Castlefields Primary School.

Whaddon Village Hall providing facilities for Village community activities and fund raising for local charities

Fund-raising for the repair ,maintenance and improvement of the ancient Church of All Saints Brightlingsea which houses unique memorial tiles to local sailors.

A charitable fund made up of contributions from Governors, parents, teachers, Ide Hill residents and friends of the School.The Fund is to assist the Governing Body meet the cost of items for which they are responsible, including contributions to capital works partly funded by Government grants.

Fund raising for extra facilities/equipment for the school

The charity is a village hall in Morgans Vale and Woodfalls. It provides excellent facilities at a reasonable rate for local groups and individuals. Activities in the hall include, keep fit, flower arranging, Women's Institute, table tennis, life drawing, jumble sales and private parties.

General fund raising including an annual Xmas Float to provide funds to support local,international and Rotary projects and Charities.

Development of young people between the ages of 6 and 15 through Scouting activities

The aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international coomunities.

SCOUTING FOR YOUTH OF TOWN

Scouting activities for girls and boys from the age of 4 to 15 years.

Scouting

Weekly art group, indoor bowls club, WI, private bookings, village hall commitee meetings, parish council meetings, (yoga/keep fit), hire of furnishings. NEA meetings, polling station. Fund raising ie drama, quiz nights, coffee mornings.

The Group provides regular weekly activities for boys and girls via a Beaver Colony, Cub and Scout pack. The Group is part of the Scouting Association. Children are predominantly from the village of South Nutfield but membership is not restricted by place of residency.

The Club (Benevolent Fund) is a part of the Rotary International Movement, and acts within the principles and activities accordingly.

TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

The 18th Bristol Scout Group runs Beaver, Cub and Scout packs for children in Redland and Cotham, urban suburbs in north central Bristol. All three groups are fully subscribed and serve an area of Bristol which has no council supported youth centre or youth workers.
