Rainbow, Brownie and Guide Meetings at the hall

We provide accomodation for community clubs such as Brownies, Rainbow guides, Mother and toddler clubs, Karate classes, Childing Minding club, Knit and Natter group, School holiday group as well as one off party dates for local residents.

We run two or three charity events each year, usually aimed at the poor, children or senior citizens. We make donatiions to local charities aimed mainly at the young, old or disadvantaged. We also give donations to overseas charitable organisations, including larger projects (e.g. in South Africa) with our "Twinned" Rotary Clubs in Germany, Holland and Belgium.

To ensure the advancement of education and care of all pre school children including children with special needs under statutory school age in the area of benefit. Further details are set out in the Friends of Lanterns Constitution.

Christmas Bazaar, Summer BBQ, Disco's

Scouting Activities through Beaver, Cub and Scout troops

Fundraising events including, but not limited to, school kids' discos and Christmas Fayre, which are are held on the school premises, and sale of Christmas Cards.Funds raised are donated to St Bartholomew's School to purchase additional items to benefit the children.

We are an independent youth charity, affiliated to the Marine Society and Sea Cadet's National Charity. We train cadets in waterborne activities within a disciplined environment based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.

Financial support for people living in Royston and District who need healthcare not provided at NHS expense.

Provides and maintains a building available to the people of the Havens to use for community activities.

Sea Cadets is a voluntary organisation for young people aged 12 to 18 with Juniors aged 10 to 12. They offer a wide range of activities including sailing, canoeing, rock climbing, engineering, IT and communications, music and cookery. A Trust Fund associated with a Rotary International Club raising funds to help local individuals and organisations to achieve their ambitions and better fulfil their potential, to assist those in need or suffering hardship and to undertake charitable purposes for the public benefit both in the UK and internationally.

A schools parents & teachers body whom raises money to provide things for the children of the school.

The Objectives of the group are as a unit of the Scout Association.The method of acheiving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law and guided by adult leadership

The charity organises and runs various fundraising activities during the year. The money raised is used to provide equipment and facilities for the school which are not normally provided by the Local Education Authority. The head teacher identifies the needs and presents suggestions to the Friends for their consideration and funds will be spent as a need arises.
