Providing Scouting and Guiding activities

Fundraising for and promoting social links within St Bridgets School.

We give grants to young people under the age of 25 for any educational needs they may have. These could be in the field of sports, arts, apprenticeship equipment, school trips and further and higher education expenses. The applicants must live in Beverley or surrounding area and/or go or have been to Beverley schools. We also give grants to organisations which deal with young people such as scouts

Education/Training. Counselling. Advice and Information. Involved with young and old people of the community in activities from Indoor Bowling to Luncheon Clubs. Hall available for hire for private events and functions.

Parent teacher association for Crossways Schools, Thornbury. We organise social opportunities for children, families and staff to interact outside the school day, forging stronger links between home and school as well as raising money to benefit the children and their school environment.

The Objective of Congleton Drill Hall Trust is to provide facilities for furthering the efficiency of units and members of the Reserve Forces and the Service Cadet Organisations in the Borough of Congleton, Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Chester and the County of Cheshire.

FUNDRAISING FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL, FOR EXAMPLE SUMMER FAYRE, BINGO EVENINGS, CHRISTMAS FAYRE, SHOPPING EVENING AND BBQ. ALL HELD IN THE SCHOOL GROUNDS. INVITING PARENTS AND FAMILY TO COME INTO SCHOOL AND PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITEIS ie tombola, visiting santa, raffle, etc. PAYING MONEY TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE. ACTIVITIES DEPEND ON THE EVENT WE ARE HOLDING.

It is a Trust established to hold and administer an 8 acre field of agricultural land. The field has had no use till this year other than grazing for ponies from a nearby riding school. It is now being leased to the local scout troop who have recently been made 'homeless' for their activities. The income is to be distributed to four named charities.

To provide facilities for furthering the efficiency of those Volunteer Reserve Forces or Service Cadet Organisations which operate for the time being in Blackpool or in the county of Lancashire, West of the M6 motorway of if all such units cease to exist, for the benefit of the citizens of Blackpool as a whole.

Hold events to raise money and collect contributions from Rotary Club members to distribute for charitable puposes.

Raising funds to provide facilities, equipment and trips for children who attend the Pre-School, Nursery School and Infants School.

EDUCATION OF YOUNG CHILDREN

Local scout group.

We aim to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines.

FOCKSA's aim is to advance the education of the pupils of Charles Kingsley's Primary School by providing facilites not normally provided by the LEA, engaging in activies to support the school, fostering better relationships between staff, parents and pupils and acting in an advisory capacity to the Headteacher. The role is dual in both fundraising and building up the school community.

We support the pupils at BCS Prep School with funding for projects and activities outside the curriculum and we also support various local charities.

THE METHOD OF ACHIEVING THE AIM IS BY YOUNG PEOPLE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ADULTS

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the Warboys Scout Group give young people of Warboys the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

School fund-raising activities, bingo evening, summer & Christmas fairs etc.
