Established to perpetuate the memory of the Regiment known as Hodson's Horse and the British officers who served in it. Annual grants are given to: King Edward VII Hospital (' Sister Agnes'), Scholarships for the education of children of soldiers in India; provision of medals and trophies for sports events run by the Royal Armoured Corps and a HH Merit award for overseas cadets at RMAS Sandhurst.

Bretford Village Hall is rented out to various individuals, clubs and charities for leisure and social activities.

Provision of lunches and other social activity for older people

EDUCATION - CRAFTS, SINGING, ENVIRONMENTAL/CLIMATE CONCERNS, WALKING GROUP,COMPETITIONS, FUNDRAISING FOR LOCAL CHARITIES, EVENTS AND OUTINGS,

A unit of the Scout Association. There are Scout, Cub and Beaver sections. The sections meet most weeks during school terms. The young people do a variety of activities, and various camps.

- Develop relationships with staff, parents and others associated with the school- Organise activities to advance the education of the pupils- Provide and assist in the provision of facilities and items for education not provided by statutory funds

Fund raising for the provision of goods for the school

Organisation of charity events (eg. golf day, entertainment events, street collection, etc) to raise money for local, national and international charities. Youth activities: Youth Speaks, Young Chef, Young Photographer, Christmas Story competitions, School Reading Partners, etc. Organisation of Tenterden Town Carol service and Town Christmas Tree. Providing volunteer support to other charities.

Training of young people in accordance with the Scout Association Rules.

We have a mums & babies group. Pensioners luncheon club. A carers group. A small bingo sessions and a volunteers group.

Village Hall in Castle Eaton, near Swindon. Provides meetings space for village groups and other social activities.

Encouraging and enabling young people to work together, building life and outdoor skills,espcially camping, that will equip them for the future. This includes many awards that are gained by showing competence and ability. Regular Camps are arranged to which members are encouraged to attend. Other fun activities are organised for the weekly meetings, at the headquarters - Kent Lodge, Radlett

Voluntary youth organisation with a naval theme. Organising training events in boating, camping & shooting to encourage individuals to reach their full potential. Developing valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct.

To provide healthcare services for the local hospital and community.

Supporting childrens instrumental needs in college, external concerts and tours, music provision in college, coordinating catering needs

To promote the benefits of the habitants in the area by working collaboratively in a common effort to create opportunity, to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare, for recreation and leisure time occupation To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a centre for activities promoted by the association in furtherance of the above objects or any of them.

To apply both capital and income of the trust fund to and for the relief of the poor and needy or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the Rotary Club of Sidmouth in duly constituted meeting shall from time to time direct.
