Our charity comprises a village hall maintained for the use of anyone in the local area for events. Examples are: WI, mothers & toddlers, astronomy club, dog club, quilters & village friends. The hall is also used for functions and concerts. It is a community facility.

We engage in fundraising activities and events at the school to raise funds for items such as improving play facilities in playground, new stage and costumes for drama,improving the school environment etc. We usually raise funds through discos, Christmas Fair, Easter Egg raffle etc. Parents and families are encouraged to particpate.

The Cleobury Mortimer Scout Group runs Scouts, Cubs and Beavers for youngsters aged from 5 to 14 years in Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire.

Scouting

The provision of educational activities and training, which cover outdoor activities, environment, conservation, heritage, spiritual and cultural interests based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.

To provide a building for use by scouts/ guides/ and the youth of the parish

Friends of Robert Sandilands (FORS) was formed in March 2003. We provide financial and practical help for the school, arrange social events and plan opportunities for the children to try new things.

To raise money to provide facilities and equipment at Cowes Medical Centre for patients of the Centre.

The aim of the scout association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities.

The object of the League shall be to relieve patients and former patients of the hospital (known as the Wellbeing Centre), and other persons in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm and generally to support the work of the hospital and the health and wellbeing of the wider community (residents of Ashburton, Buckfastleigh and their immediate locality)

This charity is made up predominately of parents, teachers and volunteers. Our main purpose/aim is to provide all the users of the school with a more enhanced, enriched environment in which to learn, develop, grow, nurture and enjoy themselves. We are currently raising funds for a purpose built outdoor learning area where the children can enjoy their education outside.

General Village activities including hiring and upkeep of the hall and park.Lettings for public and village use , such as weddings , birthdays and WI.Fund raisers for local charities.

Scouting activities including Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

All funds raised are donated to local, national & international charities and other good causes either directly through the club or in conjunction with The Rotary Foundation.

Friends of St Peter's - primary school PTA

The objectives of the Group are as a unit of the Scout Association. The group operates with The Aim of The Scout Association. The sections of the Group meet weekly in term time and provide games and training as part of the balanced training programme which works to achieve the Aim of the movement. As part of the training there are also outings and camps during the year by the sections.
