Promotion of efficiency of units of the Army Reserve, the Army Cadet Force and Army Sections of the Combined Cadet Force in Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, and welfare support to serving and ex-members of them and their dependants.

The object of the charity is to distribute the interest received on capital invested to non-profit making organisations and individuals in the local area.

Scout group

To manage the Community Centre building for the community. Fund raise for activities in the community and building running costs. Publish a monthly newsletter. Arrange and support learning activities for the community particularly the Youth. The East Rural Youth & Community Association operates in the only community centre in the East Rural Ward of Blackburn with Darwen.

VILLAGE HALL USED FOR COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Providing equipment for school, helping the cost of coach travel for various school trips.

The relief of the poor and needy or such other charaitable purpose or objects as the Rotary Club of Luton North shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

To educate women to enable them to provide an effective role in the community,to expand thier horizons and to devlop and pass on important skills.

The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The aim of the scout movement is to promote the development of young people.

The Charity provides grants towards the purchase of equipment and services for local individuals and organisations unable to obtain assistance from any other source. It will also work with other charitable organisations to raise funds or make donations to worthy causes or individuals.Each is assessed on its individual merit. The Charity also supports the Lions Clubs International Foundation.

FoRSA exists for the benefit of everyone at Rake School, raising money and awareness to support and enhance the school experience.

Our activities include Outdoor events: canoeing, hikes, nature trails, wide games, camping, rockclimbing and other scout activities. Improving social and community skills

Monthly talks, theatre visits, educational visits, walking, drama, reading group and craft activities

Events at various times of the year including school disco's, bingo, non uniform days, car boot sales and fayres.

The charitable purpose of the Unit is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).

1. To provide a community centre wherein-in all members of the community may meet and to provide and maintain the grounds and buildings for this purpose.2. To provide facilities for groups or individuals to hire the building for meetings, fundraising events, social activities etc. The rents from this to provide funds for upkeep of the centre.

Raising funds through school-based events such as Summer & Christmas Fairs. Funds raised are donated to Greetland Academy to enhance the educational experience of pupils. This usually means funding enhancements to school premises or equipment which would not be available through existing school budget e.g. new playground facilities, gifts for school starters & leavers etc.
