Funds are raised by the members of the Rotary Club of Chertsey.Our aims are to assist other charities,institutions,societies,individuals and voluntary bodies with funds to further their objects and to bring direct relief to individuals.

Maintain the historic Saxon/Norman church of St. Edmund King & Martyr.Relife of people of all ages within the parish, in distress circumstances.Assistance to other organisation,financial and other, in the local.

Organisation of visits to instruments, advice and education to organists and others with the object of furthering knowledge and appreciation of the organ and its music including its liturgical use

Helping young persons, between 4 and 18 years old, develop valuable life skills and personal development through involvement in a wide range of activities and experiences. Actively encouraging young persons to get stuck, get muddy and have ago, in fun activities that they may not normally have access to. Scouting builds confidence, resilience and skills that will be used for life.

Womens Institute - for providing social and educational meetings for local women

Alice Holt - Local Forestry Commission, where parents and families meet to enjoy facilities and learning experiences together.Teddy Toddle & Picnic, Grand Draw & Christmas Fair, Easter fair & egg hunt, LIDBA bike ride, Coffee Cake & chat mornings - Fundraising events for local community and familes at Chase.

Provides educational classes, interest talks, outings and social activities for retired people.

Rackheath WI meets on a monthly basis. We have eleven meetings per year with a wide variety of guest speakers, a Birthday meeting in April and an Annual Meeting in February. We hold a Christmas celebration in December.Other activities include regular walks, outings, educational and recreational, both local and further afield.

The Friends of York Cemetery raise funds to support the York Cemetery Trust, volunteers and the running of the Cemetery. Educational days, genealogy, grave searches and walks round the Cemetery are organised covering an array of topics.

Provision of venue for community groups and village activities and events

Our Village Hall is used by the neighbourhood to provide a warm, convenient and comfortable place for community activities.

Meet 1st Thursday in the month. Visitors welcomed, WI business discussed briefly, followed by a speaker. Outings are arranged to places of interest, walks, bowling, shows. Support is given to local events by providing tea/coffee.
