4TH GLASTONBURY SCOUT GROUP IS A FAST AND GROWING GROUP WITH OVER 100 YOUNG PEOPLE AND INCLUDES:BEAVERS 6 TO 8 YEAR OLDSCUBS 8 TO 10 YEAR OLDSSCOUTS 10 TO 14 YEAR OLDSEXPLORER SCOUTS 14 TO 18 YEAR OLDS

To promote and advance the musical education of children and young persons under the age of 25 from within the area of Ceredigion.

SCOUT GROUP COMPRISING BEAVERS, CUBS AND SCOUTS PROVIDING STRUCTURED LEARNING AND PLAY FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS

The Friends of Tarleton Community Primary School raise funds from events involving parents and children. These funds are utilised to provide equipment to improve the quality of schooling life for the school children.

Providing a range of informal education activities such as boating, camping, engineering, cooking and competitions.

Supporting the local community of Cumberworth

Fundraising for school - events for village eg fireworks display, barn dance etc

To raise monies for the maintenance and preservation of St Margaret's Church, Streatley

SUPPORTING MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE SUFFERING DISTRESS

The hall committee organises events to provide entertainment and community activities. The hall is a focal point for the village and provides a venue that villagers can hire for functions and other activities, such as playingsports . The committee organises fund raising activities, including external funding, to raise money to maintain and run the St James and St Nicholas community hall.

PUBLISH A LOCAL NEWSLETTER KEEPING THE COMMUNITY AWARE OF AND INVOLVED WITH LOCAL ISSUES.ENHANCING THE LIVES OF CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY WHEN AND WHERE POSSIBLE AS FUNDING ALLOWS.

Hold weekly meetings, during term times of Beavers, Cubs & Scouts for approximately 80 children ( boys and girls)

Friends of Grangewood Association raises funds to support and enhance the social and educational activities and opportunities of the pupils of Grangewood School. Grangewood is a school for primary age children with severe learning difficulties.

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The group covers Great & Little Waltham and the surrounding villages with weekly meetings

To benefit stroke survivors and their carers in the Walton-on-Thames and Hersham area.

The charity exists to support Adults with Learning Disabilities attending CARLTON Centre, and as agreed, in the local Community. It organizes fund raising and social activities for members, their families and carers. Money raised is used to support the Centre, and centre groups, as agreed. All Carers and Parents are Members and membership is open to all who can support the Friends activities.
