Scout Group The aim of the scout association is to promote the development of young people which we aim to do at Berryhill Scout Group which operates at Wendy Close Berryhill, by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the scout promise and law guided by adult leadership.

To assist and promote the care, maintenance, preservation and adornment of the Church of St Bartholomew, Churchdown, its memorials and furnishings and the general maintenance of the churchyard

Alleviation of poverty in Tenali, India, and in particular for the Polio Hostel Manager and his family and those who have attended the Hostel, plus others as the trustees see fit. With no new polio cases arising, the charity is scaling down its operation.

To provide financial assistance to worthy charities and good causes both Masonic and non-Masonic from fund-raising activities. Donations to charity and good causes shall be as determined from time to time by resolution of the members in open Lodge assembled.

We provide a Village Hall for hire and for the promotion of various entertainments, functions, meetings and social activities for the use and enjoyment of the local community.

FUNDRAISING EVENTS SUCH AS BONFIRE NIGHTS, BALLS, FETES, QUIZ NIGHTS, DISCOS AND FAIRS.

Assists in the preservation, repair and renewal of the fabric and furnishings of the Church of St Anne and St Laurence, Elmstead, Essex

To raise funds to support general charitable causes

Fund raising events such as discos, fetes, quiz nights, raffles to raise money to provide extra items and enriching experiences for the children at our school which are not provided for in the school budget.

Scouting Group - providing training, social development and community support for young people

The trust has a small community hall in North Shaftesbury for the benefit of the local groups of the town, particulary those who live and/or work North of the A30/A350 road. It is also used for social occasions, clubs and family gatherings.

The charity is affiliated to the third age trust and provides facilities for: 1. Special interest groups to meet regularly in furtherance of their interest. 2. Visiting speakers on subjects of general interest and 3. Any connected social activities arising.

We provide an area where groups can teach classes for the local community including over 40s & 50s keep fit, karate, and dance as well as holding fund raisers for charities in the form of jumble sales etc...We also provide an office for the local councillors surgeries for the local community to voice their concerns. the local elections are also held here at the community hall.

Walton Womens Institute provides opportunities locally for women in the fields of education, sport, recreation and crafts. It provides opportunity for friendship, competition, theatre, outings and work to benefit the community.

Raise monies to provide the extras for the children of Seething and Mundham Primary School

Hold monthly meetings and fund raising events for women in the community, giving opportunities to hear a variety of speakers, support local charities and give members the chance to influence legislators and decision-makers about local, national and international issues which are of concern to WI members.

Engages in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it.

Parent teachers Association for North Tawton Primary School. Function is to raise money for the school and liaise with the school over matters concerning parents
