RAFFLES, FETES AND EVENTS

Raising funds on behalf of the Ohr Elchonon Yeshivah Talmudical College.

To advance the education of the pupils in the school in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; including the parish community of which the school is an integral part and engaging in activities or provide facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education and well-being of the pupils.

We have equipment that is lent to 'Friends of' groups, to maintain and enhance public open spaces. We coordinate a forum for greenspace groups in Lancaster District. We are responsible for community orchard on NHS-owned land next to De Vitre House, Lancaster. We comment on local development plans and planning applications. We help fund raise for Friends of Freeman's Wood and Greaves Park

Scout Group - working with children aged 6-14

To raise funds for the upkeep of the fabric of St Mary's Church

A meeting time for entertainment & social activities. Outings etc.

Providing Scouting activities in accordance with the objects of the Scout Association.

Community meetings for groups ie Senior Citizens, Young Farmers Club WI etc

Various fundraising activities based around our school in order to purchase resources to improve life around school.

The object of the association is to advance Christian religion and in particular to assist in the preservation for the benefit of the general public the Church of St. Andrew in the parish of Cheddar in the County of Somerset as an ancient building of beauty and historic interest.

Support to deaf children and Teenager and their families who live in Derby and Derbyshire, including social activities, Sport, equipment and Transport.

We run a village hall for community use. Regular groups include W.I., yoga, line dancers, bowls, martial arts. Keep fit groups and dance classes. We are available for parties & any one off activities we endeavour to keep rental down as low as possible.

Provide Scouting activities for young people

The friends help Kent Music School to run their Medway Towns Music Centre. The friends of MTMC provide helpers, music, instruments, music equipment such as stands, run a reedshop & tuckshop and provide theory & aural booster classes and bursaries.

Promoting educational and cultural activities and courses for the members of Eglingham W.I.

Fund raising to support the local primary school. The funds raised benefit the children by providing activities, equipment and resources to enhance their school life.

Fundraising activities for school.

Parent/Teacher Association of School for young people with Learning Disabilities including Autism.

Uniformed groups and dancing classes

The Hall provides a venue for a wide range of interest groups and community activities. The Hall relies entirely on local volunteers to manage the hall.

Computer classes for members.Sewing classes for Women.Social activities the elderly and youngsters.ESOL classes.Resource centre for members of the community.

Staging events to raise money for local and international good causes, etc working with the members of the Rotary Club of Uckfield. Distributing funds to other charities and worthy individuals and groups. The bulk of funds are used within the Uckfield Community a small part being used for international projects.

Friends of the school. Committee purpose is to raise monies to support school activities not covered by government funding.
