It controls an enrichment fund and makes grants to Filton high School (the organisation/school) to support and increase opportunities for all the pupils in a variety of ways, supplementary to the provision of local education authority funding, where benefit is considered to be enriching.

Education and Training

Womens Institute. A monthly meeting for women with speakers arts and crafts competitions outings and area meetings

Youth group

Fund raising for local and international charities, organisations or people in special need. We serve our local community in the Skegness area in Lincolnshire mainly by donations for specific needs when requested. We also respond to requests to help Lions International by sending money for internatonal projects such as eye camps or water aid.

To maintain the fabric of The Church of St. Martin in Holt, Worcestershire

This charity is a PTA for Kenn C of E Primary in the village of Kenn in Devon. The objective is to raise funds for the school through fundraising events for children and parents, and sometimes the wider community. The PTA aims to involve all children and parents at the school and any funds raised are given to the school and used hopefully in ways which will benefit as many children as possible.

Sheaf District Scout Group; comprising Beaver, Cub and Scout Sections, meeting in Mosborourgh. Providing scouting experience for young people.

Providing a hall for use by any group wishing to further the wellbing of any age group in the Hooe & Turnchapel area.

To relieve patients and former patients of St. Mary's Hospital and others in the community who are sick, convalescing, disabled, handicapped or in need of support and assistance. Generally to support the charitable work of the hospital, and the furthering and promotion of health related matters and concerns within the City of Portsmouth.

Educational and recreational meetings for women. Local community projects.

However much we would all like to see more funding in education, there will always be shortfalls. FOWSA's fundraising events pay for those extras which benefit all the children in Wistow School. Many of our fundraising activities are social events and a good way of bringing the school and outside community together.

Weekly activities for Beaver group, Cub group and Scout group.

To advance the education of the pupils of Blagdon School by proividing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education not normally provided by the local education authority. Provision of equipment and resources for school.Major fundraising events, Pumping Station teas, Summer party, Quiz night.

General Masonic Charitable purposes

The charity is based in the Village of Hollingbourne, Kent, for members living in and around this country area. It offers training, education arts, culture, sport and recreation, plus environmental conservation and heritage education and activites. This is carried out in a friendly, happy admosphere.

The WI provides a variety of education an learning opportunities for women. It's activities benefit the public by advancing the education and citizenship of women and enabling them to work together in their communities to put into practice the ideals for which the Women's Institute stands.
