The Grove Centre Church is a multi-ethnic congregation worshipping in the Baptist and United Reformed traditions and sustaining a broad range of community activities for all ages through The Grove Centre - a place for people. Age Concern Barnstaple and North Devon supports older and vulnerable people to reduce loneliness and isolation, improve health and wellbeing and support independent living. Services include Care Line, Community Transport, Shopping Service, Befriending, Carer Support, Hospital Support and Community Activities.

A Voluntary organisation which raises funds to provide additional services, amenities and equipment for the benefit and comfort of patients and staff. Services have been extended to support and care for patients in the community.

Odiham Cottage Hospital Charitable Trust provides health and social care the the residents of West Hart and Old Basing, Hampshire.Its services include being the base for the NHS community nursing team and their medical clinics, Mustard Seed Autism Trust, specialist clinics run by St Michaels Hospice and counselling services run by Hart Voluntary Action.

Egerton Youth Club is a purpose-built leisure and sports facility that provides facilities for the young people of Knutsford and the surrounding area to meet and take part in sport, leisure and social activities.

RELIGIOUS AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

PPCA manages the Pells open-air swimming pool in Lewes on behalf of the community; the oldest, public, open-air, freshwater swimming pool in continuous use in the UK . Built in 1860, the pool opens from late April to late November and measures 25 x 50 yards. It is much appreciated and well supported by the community. The charity raises funds to renovate and improve pool equipment and facilities.

Providing scouting opportunities for young people living in or near the Lavingtons.

Fund raising activities. Grants of money to The Yeatman Hospital, Sherborne, to improve hospital facilities and provide benefits to patients: redecoration, supplementary equipment and furniture, garden provision and maintenance, newspapers for patients, flowers, drinks machines, television services, supplementary therapies.

The DRCA is a unique Community Association of 2 halls used by the local estate for recreation & community activities. The upper level is a hub for other charitable organisations to use in association & support of the DRCA's objectives. Financial support for these is provided by a thriving community of forty small businesses providing services, commerce and employment to the local area and beyond.

Rescue and rehabilitate unwanted and abandoned animals, mostly dogs, cats and rabbits. Staffed by Volunteers who are responsible for all aspects of the rescues work. Animals are cared for in foster homes. Run a 24 hour Helpline. Operate an online Lost and Found service. Support a number of food banks with pet food. Foster the pets of owners in crisis working with various agencies.
