As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 1st Horndon-on-the-Hill Scout Group gives young people of the locality the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

PROVIDES SCOUTING TO CHILDREN IN LAMBETH

Maintainance of village community building as meeting place for community activities. Fundraising and organising of community activities to promote and support facility.

The Sacred Heart School Association engages in a number of fund raising activities to advance the education of the pupils in the school.

We provide a community centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of Ivybridge and surrounding area. We offer affordable rates for local community organisations, registered charities and voluntary groups, subsidising lets where appropriate. We constantly develope and upgrade the centre's facilities for everyone to use and enjoy.

Based upon the Girlguiding UK Brownie programme we encourage young girls to have fun, give them opportunities to make decisions, give them skills appropriate to their age and give them the opportunity to go away on Pack Holiday.

To support the education of the pupils of North Frodingham Primary School, by fundraising to provide equipment and trips and to provide additional fun activities for the children.

Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the recreation & leisure time occupation for the inhabitants of WIMBLEBURY and the neighbourhood - without discrimination.

TO RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY OR FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE AS THE CLUB SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.

The Rotary Club of Stone & District provides Community Service locally, nationally and internationally either by volunteering or by using funds contributed by members of the Club or by the general public. Such service may include educational grants, or grants to relieve poverty

The object of the Association is the education of the public by promotion, support, assistance and improvement of the Ceredigion Museum through the activity of a group of Friends

Our Scout Group offers young people aged 6 - 14 an opportunity to gain Skills for Life via a structured programme of challenging and exciting fun-packed activities in the Bilborough area of Nottingham (where we are based) and beyond, doing our best to ensure their safety at all times. We believe in 'Scouting for All' irrespective of ethnicity, faith or special needs. All are welcome!

Encourage and enable women to enhance their lives and to play their part in the community through education and public questions

Gives grants to Saint Margaret's Parish Church Parochial Church Council for improvements to the churchyard amenity as a public place in West Hoathly Village.

Fund raising to aid the development of the children at Paternoster Special Needs School

TO HELP THOSE IN NEED BOTH IN OUR LOCAL AREA AND INTERNATIONALY

The Friends of Smithills Hall, working in partnership with Bolton council, seek to enhance and preserve the attractions of Smithills Hall, a building of architectural and historic interest open to the public. The Friends undertake fundraising activities and provide volunteers to work at the Hall as guides and in other capacities.

The charity supports the elderly and poverty stricken residents of the village, and helps with village activities.
