Fundraising for St Stephens Church of England Junior School

The League of Friends helps to support the Newport Cottage Care Centre, Upper Bar, Newport. Shropshire - also finance the xray unit at the care centre with the proceeds of a charity shop in Baddeley Court, Newport.

The aim of the Sea Cadet Corps is to give young people the best possible head start in life through nautical adventure and fun based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.

A friends organisation to support Gunnersbury Park and Museum

The charity supports all aspects of the management of the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve in East Sussex by providing finance, volunteer assistance, staff accommodation and advice. Meetings and events for members of the charity are held to assist with fund raising.

The education and training of young people (aged 10 to 18) in a range of activities and life skills. Some associated with sailing/boating and the traditions of the Royal Navy. Others involving climbing and other outdoor activities; music; computing; cookery skills; etc....

We provide and maintain community sports and recreation facilities for people of all ages in Nunthorpe, Marton and Ormesby. Through football, cricket, racket sports, running, quoits, volunteering and community activities, we promote health, wellbeing, social inclusion and active lifestyles while preserving open space for public benefit

Grants to local organisations and individuals, mainly within the county of Derbyshire but occasionally outside the county if the body serves the Derbyshire community.

Various charity work with local organisations helping with any specialist projects. Helping the elderly and vulnerable ot maintain their independence.

Girl Guiding

Promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. Provides a variety of activities including camps, sports, crafts, leadership development.

The scout group delivers a programme of stimulating and educational activities to the young people who comprise the membership

To provide support for Scout Groups, Scout Network and the Explorer Scout Sections in Worcester District and to give active support to the District Lead Volunteer, who is responsible for both the development of Scouting in the District and for promoting and maintaining the policy of the Association.

Friends of Barton school (FOBS) are a commitee made up of parents, staff and the wider community. Our role is to raise funds for Barton school and help the smooth running of all school events.

To provide a service to the community.

We are a Community Centre offering facilites to a variety of regular user groups and sports clubs. We also hire out small rooms for meetinga and training courses and our large halls for parties. We have a Social Club as part of the premises providing a licensed bar to members and catering services.

Providing services to the Community

Provides the organisation and financial support to Scouters, in order that they may provide Scouting activities for the youth of Copthorne Village and surrounding area.

The Charity makes grants as funds permit to the Dean and Chapter of Lincoln Cathedral towards the worship, maintenance, preservation, improvement or repair of the fittings, ornaments, furniture and monuments in Lincoln Cathedral, and the furthering of schemes to set forward it's beauty safety or utility.

We provide Age-friendly activities from the centre, which include Monday Movers (Chair yoga) Collyhurst walker, Line dancing, and an annual family trip. Provide. One-off events include Christmas lunch. 4CT run sessions aimed at the youth. Other users deliver activities such as Zumba, Mexican dance, Drama sessions for under-11s and young mum sessions. NA also runs sessions once a week.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Mill End and District without distinction,and associating in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time ocupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.To maintain and manage the community centre in furtherance of these objectives
