Usual W.I. activities. Monthly meetings for members, also attending group and federation meetings, help in tidying village and assisting other village activities

To support the work of the Museum and Art Gallery through fund-raising to assist the conservation of the collections and the cost of exhibitions, and the organising of public lectures to broaden the educational outreach of the Museum and Art Gallery.

mainly used for Girlguiding meetings - for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides & Rangers (girls age 4-18). The hall is also used for local meetings, nursery, holidays and social events

ProvideCHASE SCHOOL ANNUAL REPORT ??? 2010The Hall has had a succesful year. W.I. and Gardening Club continue to meet monthly. Whist Drives were held weekly September to April.Succesful Spring and Summer Shows were held. Two Bands practice weekly. Hall was hired out for parties, private functios such as wedding parties, scouts, memorial teas etc.

To enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts crafts and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life.

Friendship lunches and suppers, coffee mornings, cream teas, bridge days, raffles.

FUND RAISING AND DONATIONS TO MASONIC AND NATIONAL AND LOCAL CHARITIESIN 2020 DONATIONS WERE MADE TO:- Masonic Charities and Longmead Community Farm

Monthly meetings with refreshments and speaker, and some outings for the benefit of the members

Village Hall and Social Club

The object of the Friends is to support the work of the Brantwood Trust, by making donations in support of Brantwood's educational work and the buildings preservation. Through a programme of events and study days it seeks to promote public understanding of John Ruskin and his contribution to arts and social philosophy.

THE GROUP IS BASED IN BIDEFORD. WE UNDERTAKE ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BADGE WORK, COOKING, CAMPING, CRAFT WORK, ORIENTEERING, VISITING PLACES OF INTEREST SUCH AS FIRESTATIONS. TAKE PART IN PARADES. ENTER COMPETITIONS WITH OTHER SCOUT GROUPS

Hold events at the school such as : disco, BBQ, May Fayre, Social Event, Panto, Christmas Fair etc...... to raise funds for the school to purchase extra equipment for all the children to benefit from.

Raising funds to assist the PCC of the churches to preserve their fabric and environment in a satisfactory state of repair. This is achieved by organising functions to attract parishioners and non parishioners.

Scouting and Guiding activities for young people

Responsbile for the maintenance of Hetley House building and grounds. This premises is used by the FLITWICK District rainbows, brownies guides and rangers for weekly meetings. Flitwick District is part of Girl Guiding.

The building is let to W.I. private parties various meeting as well as holding church services social evenings, talks on gardening, quiz nights amongst other activities.

Helping young uuderprivileged and vulnerable children in both scouting and guiding activities to have agood start in life

To develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents & others associated with the school. To engage in activities which support the school & advance the education of the pupils. We fundraise to provide equipment & experiences to the children that they wouldn't have due to school budget cuts or home background, through cake bakes, our bookshop, discos, family fun nights, egg hunts.

Redditch is twinned with Mtwara in Tanzania. Town twining based on equality, knowledge and understanding through learning and personal involvement. Activities include: exchange visits, fundraising for projects in Mtwara and to bring Tanzanians from Mtwara to visit Redditch, also for secondaryschool fees for sponsored pupils (?1300 is sent out every year); organising seminars on related topics.
