Associations Charities

The charity raises funds from the members of Friars (masonic) Lodge. Grants are made to a number of other national charities (mainly non-masonic) as selected by the Lodge members.

Fundraising for items for patients comfort for Redlands Primary care

Provides meeting place for local organisations, eg WI, Parish Council, Local Brass Band practice venue. A communal place for the village to meet for social occasions. Also a venue for private hire for parties, Funeral wakes, meeting of Church Societies etc. The Parish Hall committee also holds various fund raising events each year including, Annual Scarecrow Competition etc.

TO PROVIDE HELP TO THOSE IN NEED BY DIRECT SERVICE OR BY RAISING MONEY TO FURTHER THAT OBJECTIVE, MAINLY TO THOSE IN CARDIFF OR THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE LIONS INTERNATIONAL TRUST FOR NATIONAL PROJECTS OR FOR HELP IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES.

Raises funds for Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.

Meetings for members to encourage friendship and companionship, learning new skills and learning about general topics

Monthly meetings to stimulate members interests; fund raising for nominated local charities.

44 members. Celebrated Old Sodbury WI 100th birthday. Supported local charities through speakers. Enjoyed social events and outings. Two members took up Denman College bursaries and several members attended courses. A successful year.

Financial support for the musical activities of the members of Hertfordshire County Youth Music Groups e.g. for attendance at courses or for instrument use. From 21st October 2009 incorporated the Brenda Kitchingman Foundation, also known as BKF, which functions within the framework and objectives of the Friends.

Women's Institute

We are a Women's Institute Group who meet once a month in a local Community Centre Hall

As in classification for women and the local community.

Support and advancement of the Riverhouse Arts Centre

The object of the Charity is to advance the education of children and young people attending the Lycee or any organisation affiliated or working with the Lycee, particularly those providing french or bilingual education in England.

The main purpose of the Women's Institute organisation is already lodged.

Educational outlet for women of all ages

To assist with the preservation repair, maintenance and improvement of the fabric and major furnishings of the parish church of St. Andrew, Burnt Ash Lane, Bromley, Kent and of St. Andrew's Hall.

Fund raising to maintain a village hall facility and to provide opportunities within local rural community (Ireby and locality) in general and particularily among the female population for personal development and community relationships.
