SCOUT GROUP BEAVERS AND CUBS

We are a Village Scout and Guide Group providing Scouting and Guiding activity to young people between the ages of 5 and 18 years. This provides mental, physical and spiritual development to these young people.

The main object of the charity are to raise funds and assist local, national and international charitable purposes.

THE CHARITY RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH AUTISM WHO ATTEND THE MARGARET COATES UNIT. THE CHARITY ALSO PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE FAMILIES. THE MONEY RAISED PAYS FOR ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AND RESOURSES UNABLE TO BE PROVIDED WITHIN THE LOCAL AUTHORITY BUDGET.

We provide women with educational opportunities, a chance to build new skills and to take part in a wide variety of activities. We also campaign on issues that matter to us & our community.

Self explanatory

To relieve patients and former patients of the hospital and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistance and to provide or assist in the provision of amenities in the hospital for patients and staff.

Open to all women to attend courses and meetings on issues associated with rural life including arts, crafts, sciences, handicrafts, health, sport, health and social wefare.

Raises money to support and maintain the musical life of Hexham Abbey as an integral part of worship.

Fund raising by holding Coffee Mornings,Organising Charity Concerts,Quiz, Making and selling Greetings Cards, Collecting items to complete boxes for Save the Children, Community Raffle

Fund raising activities to give the children the extras not covered by the LEA budget. We are currently raising funds for class activities including residential visits.

Fundraises in order to donate to deserving charities and organisations, locally, nationally and internationally.

This Charity provides support for the 19th Kings Lynn Scout Group whose Headquartres are at Chequers Lane, North Runcton, Kings Lynn, Norfolk PE33 0RF. This consisits of maintainance of the Headquarters Building and the grounds of approximately half an acre, provision and storage of tenting equipment for use by the youth of the area.

To advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing, and assisting, in the provision of facilities for education at the school, not normally provided by the LEA.

THE CHARITY RAISES MONEY TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES FOR USE IN THE SCHOOL

THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS TO MAINTAIN, ENHANCE AND CARE FOR THE ASSETS AND FACILITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND TO PLAN, ORGANISE AND PROMOTE FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT THIS AIM, AND TO ENCOURAGE SOCIAL INTERACTION AND COHESION OF THE COMMUNITY

The League of Friends provides support and services to patients and visitors to Spalding Hospitals. This includes fundraising for the purchase of additional medical equipment and the improvement of the social care of the patients.
