PROVIDES A BALENCED PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES THOUGH THE SCOUTS FOR CHILDREN IN MIDDLETON

EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL

Makes grants to Church Stretton Medical Centre for the purchase of medical equipment and associated items for the well-being of patients.

MONTHLY MEETINGS FOR FRIENDSHIP AND EDUCATION

The charity works through out the UKProviding teaching an venues to students requiring spiritual developement

Provide a useful building for village activities such as social evenings, jumble sales, private hire for small functions, elections. Fundraising activities are used to finance the building's conservation and repair.

To further the purposes of the W. I. organisation.

Education grants to students from primary through to Further education. Grants to youth groups such as Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Duke of Edinburgh Scheme etc.

To provide friendship and support within the community. To raise awareness of local, national and international campaigns. To promote education,motivation and fulfilment of various lifestyle activities.

General Charitable Purposes

We operate both locally and internationally as the need is identified. When oprerating internationally it is almost always in conjunction with a Rotary Club in the receiving country.

1 MONTHLY MEETING WITH SPEAKER

education /improving rural life

We hold monthly meetings for members of our Women's Institute. We listen to speakers and read out minutes, etc.

The objectives of the Group are as a unit of the Scout Association. The main activities in relation to these objectives is the provision of the weekly section meetings, as follows:Beaver Scouts Thursdays 5 - 6.Cub Scouts Thursdays 6.30 - 8, Scouts Wednesdays 6.30 to 8

We engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it. We provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school (not provided from statutory funds) as the committee in consultation with the governing body shall from time to time, determine. We also help fund fun activities for the pupils enjoyment.

TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR THE AGED, DISABLED AND POOR RESIDENTS OF QUEEN ELIZABETH COURT, AND IN PARTICULAR, BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE CARE, RECREATION, AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF SUCH PERSONS, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR LIFE.

currently organise - Youth club age 12-16, Junior Disco's 7 - 11. we hold family events such as village festival in july, halloween party Oct, family treasure hunt in september.Hall is also the meeting place for agewell group, women's institute, pensioners whist drive. other events include fortnightly bingo, cooking 4 kids group and the village in bloom
