Usual activities of a Women's Institute - education for women, craft group, monthly meetings usually involving speakers on a variety of topics. Other groups pertinent to the running of a successful W.I.

Wide range of speakers, visits to cultural and artistic venues. Varied social and recreational activities. Involved in environmental and community projects.

We provide a balanced programme of activities to enhance and stimulate the mental and physical wellbeing of young people aged 6 years to 14 years of age.

Support of members of the Institute, the local and wider community.

Members meet together for talks and various social activities. We meet with other W I s within our District and/or Federation for social activities, talks, demonstrations, and workshops connected with subjects such as home economics, arts and crafts, sports and leisure, performing arts, science, health and social welfare.

Fund raising for the restoration, maintenance and improvement to St Peters and St Pauls Cranfield

Voluntary support by our members to other local groups.

Scouting - Running activities for young people from 6 to 25 and giving them skills for life

Provides and maintains the Scout Groups premises.

All welcome community association lead activities from Kids clubs, over 50's, line dancing, Youth club, fairs and opendays training facilities with white boards and projectors. book club cookery club. Room hire.

Support local and overseas charitable organisations

Fund raising to support for the education of the pupils of Cliddesden School

Educational outings. Monthly meetings, Supporting & providing Meals for Saltburn-in-Bloom.Joint organisation of Annual Saltburn Craft & Produce Show. Tree Planting.

T0 PROVIDE AMENITIES AND COMFORTS FOR SUCH OLD PEOPLE LIVING WITHIN THE NN10 POST CODE, EXCLUDING THE PARISH WYMINGTON, AS THE PRESIDENT OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF RUSHDEN, OR IF THE SAID ROTARY CLUB CEASE TO EXISIT THE TRUSTEES FOR THE TIME BEING SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME SELECT.

The W.I. offers opportunities for all women to enjoy friendship, to learn, to widen their horizons and together to influence local, national and international affairs.

General charitable purposes both masonic and non masonic charities

The hall provides a suitable meeting place for all village activies particularly religious ones and it is planned to extend its activies to work closer with the Social Club so that its range of activies can be wider.
