Associations Charities

To improve and develop conditions for women in both rural and urban communities and advance the education of women in citizenship, in public questions both national and international, in music, drama and other cultural subjects; also to secure instruction and training in of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. To promote sustainable development by education.

For the relief of such poor and distressed brother masons or their poor and distressed widows and children or to for the benefit of such masonic charities or other charitable institutions societies and objects as the lodge shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The education of women, Talks, Speakers.

Monthly meeting on 2nd Wednesday of each month at Scott Drive Church, Scott Drive Exmouth with an interesting speaker or demonstrator and social time at each meeting. Other activities include skittles, walks, meals out and generally enjoying ourselves.

Provides activities for young people from 5 to 14 years old all linked to the scouting movement.

Educational Talks, Craft Group, Choir, Attend Workshops, Discuss Resolutions, Support Campains, Hold Social Events, Support Local Community Projects.

General charitable activities

Fundraising for Masonic and non-Masonic organisations and charities.

Fund raising for extra monies for the benefit of the children's school facilities

fundraising events to improve facilities for our school.

Coffee morning for local Charities eg(Safe and Sound- Homeless young adults).Stall at Grange Hall Extravaganza -part of takings to Grange Hall Community Association. Craft club filling shoeboxes for Link To Hope(underprivileged families and elderly people in eastern european countries)

Masonic charity- Mentor Lodge elderly welfare.

To relieve patients & former patients of our hospitals & other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent & disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of financial assistance & generally, to support the charitable work of the said hospitals.

Talks and Competions. Entry into local Agricultural Show. Craft Classes, Scrabble and Skittles participation. Gives help with the local hospital fete.

To offer women the best opportunity to make an impact in the community to influence local, national and world issues effecting the social, economic and environmental life of families and communities, and to learn new and traditional skills.

EDUCATION AND FRIENDSHIP FOR WOMEN OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Education of women enabling them to contribute to community life.

Fund raising for local charities and overseas charities and helping in our local community.

We are a small committee made up of parent volunteers whose aim is to fundraise for the schools Special Needs children and put back every penny of that money into purchasing specialist equipment for our children. This may be anything from sensory resources, furniture, specialist outdoor equipment, send pupils on a residential holiday, or saving to purchase a new minibus.

Community Service, International Service and Rotary Foundation Charity

The Friends of the Commons augment the work of the Commons Conservators and the Ranger. We do this by members volunteering to work on the Commons. Typical activities include picking up litter, clearing scrub, enhancing public access and helping to promote ecological diversity. We also help to fund associated expenditure, particularly for items not normally covered in the Conservators' budget.
