Religious and social activities. We hold our actvities at the Wimbledon Community Centre, Haydons Road, Wimbledon on a monthly basis. Most of our members belong to the ethnic minorities and are in the main senior citizens

Provide support and assistance to masonic and none masonic individuals or organisations

This is a Scout Group and provides the usual activities of the Scout Association.It promotes the development of young people in achieving their full potential in physical, intellectual, social and spiritual areas.

Senior citizens group. Playscheme, dancing, keep fit, bingo club, mother & toddler group, karate, bowling, tenants, residents, arts & craft, disability group.

We provide women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

The object of the charity is to apply both capital and income thereof to or for the relief of the poor and needy, or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the Mercia and Marches Rotary Trust Fund shall, in a duly constituted meeting, from time to time direct.

Fund raising

GRANTS TO INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF THE RAOB FOR NECESSITOUS PURPOSES. DEATH GRANTS TO BEREAVED FAMILIES TO ASSIST WITH FUNERAL EXPENSES. CONVALESCENT GRANTS FOR MEMBERS GOING ON CONVALESCENT STAY AT THE RAOB CONVALESCENT HOMES. BENEVOLENT FUND IS AVAILABLE TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE RAOB MERSEY PROVINCE WHO ARE IN FULL FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE. THE FUND ALSO ASSISTS WIDOWS IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES.

PROVISION OF A COMMUNITY FACILITY FOR USE BY THE VILLAGERS AND RESIDENTS IN THE SURROUNDING AREAS. THE HALL IS USED FOR VILLAGE EVENTS AND IS USED BY A NUMBER OF GROUPS AND CLUBS FOR REGULAR SPORTING AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.

Giving support to students and young people who live in East Drayton to help with education or training and make contributions to the church and support village activities

Supporting children, young people and elderly with holidays who live in Sandwell MBC. Giving grants which enable young people to pursue avenues other than available in education. Organisations particulary those invloved with helping to improve/ease young and elderly peoples lives.

Raising funds for the benefit of the pupils at St Margaret Clitherow RC Primary School

It has no specific activities but through prudent investment adds to its capital sum in order to be able to assist Masonic Brethren who are in need, and to assist other charitable organisations whom the trustees feel warrant assistance.

A voluntary organisation enabling women to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their own horizons and to develop and pass on important skills. This is done by taking part in activities such as art and craft, cookery, walks, visiting local residential homes, holding meetings with a wide of range of speakers and generally getting involved in the local community.

Hindu Community activities and helping our Hindu temples members, liaison and coordination with other Hindu organisations in the UK

W.I. meetings.

Contributes towards the upkeep, maintenance and conservation of the structure & fabrics of the Abbey Church of St.Mary and St.Helena, Elstow. To this end, commissions work or goods, or makes grants to the Parochial Church Council, at their request. Raises funds via membership subscriptions, fund-raising events, donations & bequests, "Small Society" lotteries, trading activities and seeking grants.

Conservation of a library of rare books. The library is made available to all those who are embarking upon or following a programme of research.

We are a local branch of the Women's Institute. We hold 11 main meetings a year. These mostly involve a speaker, refreshments, a raffle and an informal competition. We hold many other events during the year (including an outing, group lunches, a tea party, two coffee mornings, monthly get-togethers, a craft group and various sporting activities). Women of 18 years and above are welcome to join.
