Provision of lectures and visits in pursuit of the understanding of art. Open to the public. Deployment of funds to support Rochdale Art Gallery for the restoration and purchase of works of art.

To provide social activity and entertainment opportunities to local groups and individuals who are either learning and /or physically disabled, suffer with dementia or who are incapacitated in any way, either physically or mentally. The overall aim been to facilitate fun and enjoyment to such groups and individuals, with the intention of enhancing and improving the overall quality of their lives.

Provision of Scouting in Northiam

The repair and upkeep of the Parish Church of St Peters, Winterbourne Stoke, its fabric, organ and bells and provide support in its worship, music and other needs.

The Charity Activities are held at Georgetown Community Centre only.

Fundraising to provide medical and other equipment needed by health professionals and other healthcare providers.

The Village Hall is now no longer used for village activities. The village at a public meeting showed no support for further use of the Hall. It is now being considered for sale and any profits will be used for the benefit of the village, probably through the building of a new facility with Chirton School . The structure of the present building makes it unviable for its former use.

The charity provides resources for the education and training of disabled children by assisting in the provision of human resources and specialist equipment and services. The principal activities of the charity are fund raising to provide these resources and services.

TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF WOMEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE,IN PARTICULAR YOUNG WOMEN UNDER 30,THE ADVANCEMENT OF THEIR EDUCATION AND TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE THEIR POVERTY OR HARDSHIP, WORKING FROM A CHRISTIAN VALUE BASE.TO ENCOURAGE THE SOCIAL,PHYSICAL,SPIRITUAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TO PROMOTE THE LEADERSHIP AND PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY OF YOUNG WOMEN.

To apply both the capital and the income of the Benevolent Fund to or for the relief of such poor & distressed Brother Masons or their poor & distressed widows and children, or for the benefit of such Masonic charities or other charitable institutions, charities and objects as the Lodge shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct

Supplying items of equipment for residents of the hospital who require more specialist items/ to improve their stay e.g. Special Beds, Chairs, Televisions, Electric fans, Telephones, Christmas presents. Gardening services (planting, maintenance etc)Providing a Trolley shop service to the residents three times a week.Raising funds by public activities (Ploughman's Lunches, Carnival stall)

The principal objective is to alleviate the suffering of the sick and their families who care for them by offering a wide range of activities and medical support in Israel.

Fund raising and non profit making activities to benefit the children who atend this school.

Provide social and education activities for our Members. Also, local groups and charities are supported. Help and support is also given to local village activities.

For the relief of poor and distressed Mason or their widows and children or for the benefit of such Masonic charities or charitable institutions as the member of the Lodge shall direct.

Masonic Charity fund

The charity receives donations from Maccabee Lodge, a masonic lodge, members and also raises funds by activities of all members of Maccabee Lodge. Donations are made to charitable/voluntary organisations.

The profile of the association needs to be raised to attract more people to fund raising events. The community lunches continue to be successful. We need more people on the committee and residents are urged to join. The Chairman thanked the Committee for their commitment and their supporting efforts.
