Scouting is a global, educational youth Movement. In the UK Scouting is organised through The Scout Association and has a clear purpose:To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as Members of their local, national and international communities.

Raise funds for the benefit of Crowborough Hospital, its patients and staff; maintain a hospital shop, operate a Social Day Service at the Hospital Day Centre, and provide transport through 2 wheelchair accessible vehicles utilising volunteer drivers.

The charity raises money for use in the hospital to provide extra equipment and other items for the benefit of both the patients and staff.

We provide education, training, sporting and recreational facilities to club members, young people, scout groups and other voluntary bodies in the safe use of air weapons and firearms for target shooting. Any member of the public who is not prohibited from holding a firearms certificate may apply for membership.

To improve the care and comforts given the patients and staff, above those which are funded and provided by the NHS.

The WI is the largest voluntary women's organisation in the UK. It exists to educate women to enable them to play an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.

THE HALL IS LET TO LOCAL GROUPS FOR THEIR ACTIVITIES. SCOUTS, JUDO CLUB. LUNCHEON CLUB, AUTUMN CLUB, GENERAL FUND RAISING, ZUMBA, PILATES, FOLK DANCING, CREATIVE DANCE, WOMENS' INSTITUTE, ANTIQUES FAIRS, POLLING STATION AND OTHER PARTY AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

General Charitable deeds, Education & Training, Medical Health & Sickness, Disability, Relief of Poverty, Overseas Aid & Famine Relief, Accomodation & Housing.

We offer pre-school education and learning activities for children of Pre-school age.

THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

To advance the education of pupils at the School and to promote a public benefit programme by raising funds to:- enhance the pupils' academic/moral/emotional/social/cultural development- fund learning equipment & resources for the school and it's public benefit initiatives- enhance student participation in community outreach- fund educational talks to support school and local parents

SCOUTING ACTIVITIES

The objectives of the group are as a unit of the Scout Association.The Aim of The Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities.

The support of the advancement of orthodox Jewish education and the orthodox Jewish faith by making grants to the Ohel Torah Talmudical College in Israel.

The Group's main activity is Scouting for both males and females from the age of 6 to the age of 14

Voluntary youth organisation for boys and girls aged 12 - 18 (10 for junior sections)Provides a range of activities, sport and skills which are attractive and adventurous within a caring discipline, based on the high standards of the Royal Navy, to which young people can respond and which will in turn assist their development of self confidence, self discipline, leadership and responsibility.

Rotary Activities supporting local, regional and overseas Community projects, inc Kids Out, senior citizen & Young Carers outings, Calvert Trust & numerous Youth projects. Sending educational, trade aid and medical supplies overseas.Financially supporting charitable clauses.Fundraising via Santa's Sleigh Street Collections, Karting, and others.

To maintain & manage Wordsley Comunity Association Centres for activities promoted by the association in furtherance o f: Health, advance education, recreation, social, moral and intellectual development of our community residents.

To provide sport and leisure to the community of Weaverham and surrounding isolated communites.
