Our PTA are a well represented committee of parents and teachers - as well as lots of support from parents who are unable to attend all meetings but happy to help at events etc.We aim to provide fun and well organised fundraising events whilst promoting a supportive partnership between families and the school.

Fundraising to support Wincanton Community Hospital by running Fetes, Garden Parties, Dances, Charity Draw, Race Days, Easter Egg Hunt, and Xmas Fayres etc. The funds are used to provide support to patients at the Hospital along with improvements to equipment, buildings and facilities.

FBR is the Parent Teacher Association of Beacon Rise School so it therefore raises money extra to local council funding.

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

The community service provides lunch clubs with transport, social groups,with transport where necessry, a social support group, painting and exercise groups, and outings mainly for older people. Provides opportunities for people with learning difficulties.as clients or volunteers. Hires out premises to other groups and local people. Information 0116-2787944.

Scouting activities include weekly meetings for games, cooking , camping, theatre, sports etc for young people.

Youth training in a variety of nautical-themed life skills including seamanship and first aid, afloat training, land-based personal skills, attendance in civic events including support to other charities with fundraising and participation in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme at all levels, and BTec qualifications at Level 1 and Level 2.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, 8th Ealing Scout Group gives young people of Ealing the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Education and development of young people through a variety of activities and competitions including public speaking, stock judging, cookery and sports. 10 clubs across the county organise their own weekly meeting. Emphasis on social, fundraising and travel opportunities too.

The charity is responsible for managing the village hall to provide a place for recreation, educational or/and social purposes for the local communities of Felindre, Beguildy and the surrounding rural hamlets and villages. It provides a valuable resource to the local community suporting Teme Valley YFC, Felindre W.I, Beguildy Community Council, Keep Fit Club, Art club and short mat bowls club.

The charity provides a well maintained village hall available for hire by local clubs & organisations. Regular users include Brownies, Art classes, WI, Garden Club, Bowling, Keep fit, Tia Chi, Zumba, Choir and Band practices. Taekwanda for kids, club fairs and polling station. Plus a venue for private parties. The hall has facilities for the disabled and well appointed stage and dressing rooms.

The aim of the group is the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people.

Working with Young people in Waltham forest

a) To promote and to advance facilities and activities for recreational, cultural, educational and well-being within the area of benefit of the Communityb) To maintain and run a suitably equipped Community Centre for the use of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

Girlguiding Herefordshire is part of Girlguiding UK, the largest organisation for girls and young women.

To provide a well maintained building for the communal benefit of the inhabitants of Bradley and the surrounding villages. The trustees aim to provide high class facilities to voluntary organisations of all ages and the general public within our community. We encourage and value all our community activities.

Relief of the poor and needy or such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the Club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

To support Rotary official charities. To react quickly and collect monies for international disasters relief funds. To collect monies and help local communities groups and individual people.

To provide Grants to support the children of deceased members of the"GLE", and to support the Children of Members with their education.

St Faith & St Laurence Scout Group is situated in Harborne, Birmingham and provides Beavers, Cub Scouts and Scout Sections for young people between the ages of 6-15 years old.
