Scout Group providing the opportunity for young people between the ages of 4 and 14 years to experience Scouting.

provides a meeting facility for organisations on Chapel House and the surrounding area i.e.badminton, bowls, bingo, dancing,martial arts, mothers & tots, pantomime, playgroup, tai chi,Over 60's club, TWG, wine club. It also is available for private hire during the year.

Upkeep of community building, holding of village events, hiring of hall for community purposes (sport, social, meetings, etc)

SCOUT GROUP.

To provide guidance & facilities to the 6 scout groups within Hertford District to promote the ideals of the scout movement.

Scouting related activities.

Providing an active and exciting programme of activities to develop children and young people, giving them skills for life, in the area of Romsley, Hunnington, Clent, Belbroughton, Fairfield, Bromsgrove and surrounding area.

Raising funds for charitable purposes in accordance with Rotary ideals.

The development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials.

Weekly meetings of Beaver, Cub and Scout sections working on projects, studying for badges and engaging in activities. Other events include attendance at camps, St George's Day parade and Remembrance Sunday parade.

Congresbury War Memorial Hall is the home for the following:Memorial Hall Mixed and Teams,Monday and Thursday Badminton Teams,Zumba Classes,Bingo evening, Congresbury Singers Rehearsal sessions, Weston Brass Rehearsal Room,Social Club,Book Sale Location,Morris Men Rehearsal locationExercise ClassesStreetdance classes,Airmodellers meeting and flying practice

The charity offers support to the activities of the Octagon Unitarian Chapel. It provides premises for the Sunday Club for young people. Other groups are permitted to use the premises for social activities as authorised by the Chapel Committee.

We run fund-raising events in support of various projects.We co-ordinate our resources with other local charities.We give our time in support of other organisations.

The introduction to young people of activities associated with maritime details, including various types of boating, canoeing, kayacking, sailing. pulling. power boating. Interspersed with engineering, cooking, DofE awards, discipline etc

Helping in the community both financially and in kind, in the support of other charitable objects and in particular the young and the elderly

Affiliated groups meet on a regular basis, including guides, brownies, rainbows. There are exercise classes, keep fit, pilates, ki aikido, cycling, also sequence dancing, children's dance classes, slimming classes, craft groups and autism group. Other classes include dog training, over 60's and a Church Group. Rooms are also rented out for socials, parties and meetings.

To advance the education of children attending Hook Junior School or Hook Infant School, Hook, Hampshire (Hook Schools) or the successors to these institutions.This is completed via a series of school-located events which allow us to raise funds for the use of the two schools co-located within the Hook area.
