Scout & Guide Group

All activities within Scouting are provided for young people aged 6 to 25. The activities are of a social and educational nature in and around Warwick.

The purpose of scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Providing a community facility for children and young people, which offers play opportunites, education and training.

Provides financial help and assistance to Local Hospital and Health Centre for the benefit of the local community

DONATIONS TO LOCAL CHARITIES AND NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHARITIES INCLUDING ROTARY FOUNDATION. MONEY COLLECTED VIA FUND RAISING EVENTS

Scout group.

We host numerous activities Currently -:Bowls , Tap dancing class ,Craft session ,Karate club,Excercise classes -:Legs bums tums, Mellow moments .Also used by WI and Global Care. We also have a fortnightly meat bingo, and monthly Quiz night besides various other social events throughout the year.

Working with young people to help them develop as good citizens

We supply the Hall and services associated with the running of a place for local residents to perform,educate etc of their particular groups.

We provide a venue for village organisations and for private hire. Keep fit activities for all ages and other social groups meet here.

The charity runs a joint scout and guide group offering to young people the usual activities associated with the scout and guide movement

To promote the benefit of all inhabitants of the Spring Bank Area without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities for the common benefit of said inhabitants.

Hosts and supports various fund raising groups in their individual activities with the aim of supporting local needs and charitable events. each group selecting their own fund raising activity

The Bentley Heath Community Association is responsible for the running and upkeep of the Bentley Heath Village Hall. The hall is used extensively by the local community and has done so for the past 50+ years. It is used by The Brownies, Dorridge & District Patients Group, many Gardening groups, and Keep Fit groups.

As Scouts,we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. The Guildford East Scout District supports Explorer Scout Units and the Scout Groups across Guildford East to encourage the young people to do more,learn more and be more. Each week,we support our members by providing the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Each week the 1st Holtspur Scout Group give young people of South Bucks the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Support of children with physical disabilities and their families. To provide extra curricular services (therapy sessions, horse riding, etc...) to the children of Richard Cloudesley School.
