Friends of Brooklands School (from now on known as FOBS) charity aims are to raised funds to enhance the curriculum and provide opportunities above the curriculum for the children of Brooklands School, all of whom have severe, profound or complex learning difficulties, including autism.

The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intullectual, social & spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Practises and puts on public performances of music often in collaboration with young persons/school choirs, orchestras and bands and with young soloists. Holds 'Come and Sing' events for public participation.

Club facilities given free of charge to aid charity events. This could be equivalent to a saving of £130 the usual charge for hall hire & bar staff. Our premises are used free of charge by The Bristol (Stockwood area) Stroke Club. Also the premises have been offered free of charge to Bristol Children's Hospital for disabled children during school holidays.

The object of the charity is to run and maintain the grade 2 listed property for the benefit of the local community.The management committee receives income from the rental of the hall to local groups and from the rental of the residential properties - a cottage and 3 flats - to individuals.

Belwood Playgroup is a local early years setting, running from the Public Hall in the village of Belton. Crudwell Village Hall and Playground provide meeting and play facilities for village activities. The hall is used by many village organisations for group meetings. Non village groups & individuals can hire the hall for functions. Playground facilities include a multi sports facility, playing field and children's play area.

Education and development of young people through a variety of activities and competitions including public speaking, stock judging, cookery and sports. 12 clubs across the county organise their own weekly meeting. Emphasis on social, fundraising and travel opportunities too.
